AN// TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of suicide :(

33. "So what, I'll die soon anyway?"

(y/n pov)

You got into the already full bus and sighed, stepping in, no room to go any further back. Holding on to your purse, you shuffled close to the side to grip onto the railing. The bus began to move and you held onto the railing as everyone wobbled around.

You got ready for the next half hour you were to spend standing on the bud, possibly longer with today's traffic, you cursed forgetting your headphones, and leaned the side of your head on the railing you were holding onto.

The bus stopped at a main intersection and many people got off, only for the same amount to get on. You rushed as far down the bus you could as it filled up again, only to not find an empty seat. Sighing, you grasped at the nearest railing. You stood facing the window as you watched the city you live in move past you.

You looked down at the person you were standing in front. He was about your age maybe. And he was hella attractive, anyone could see that. But it didn't matter to you, there was no point. "You wanna sit?" He asked as you grasped the railing. You shook your head and looked away from him.

And that's how the next 10 minutes went. You stood in between his legs and you could feel him staring up at you. Odd thing was, you didn't feel uncomfortable. It wasn't- you didn't feel weirded out. You should've though, he was just staring up at you. That was odd.

Suddenly, many bus stops later, the bus halted to a stop. You let go of the railing and let out a gasp as you fell forward. Right into the very extremely cute guy. You cursed as he put his hands on your waist to help you up and you grasped onto his shoulder, pushing yourself up.

"Shit," You muttered, trying to move up. But you couldn't. People had backed up behind you, and there was no room for you to move. You sighed looking down at the guy, already staring up at you. "I'm sorry," You muttered. He shook his head smiling.

"Don't worry about it," He whispered, holding you up. You sighed. "Maybe you should sit?" He asked with a smile. You shrugged.

"No room," You told him. He stood up slowly, your body pressed against yours. He turned you both slowly until your back was to the window. You sighed, sitting in his seat and looked up at him. He held onto the railing above your head and smiled.

"Thank you," You said. He shook his head, dismissing it.

You sat the rest of the bus ride, bus clearing up as the stops passed. You sighed as you looked behind you through the window. You turned back to see the guy still looking at you, looking away quickly as your eyes met. You smiled to yourself, telling yourself to stop. But you couldn't help but notice the empty seats in the bus as he still stood, right in front of you.

As the bus neared your stop, you stood up, trying not to let your body press to his as he stood, holding onto the railing. "You getting off?" He asked, eyes a little wide. You nodded slowly as the bus came to a stop. "Me too," He muttered. You gave him a small smile and walked past him, thanking the driver as you got off, the guy right behind you.

You headed towards your favorite coffee shop, right in front of the building you worked at. You knew you had at least 30 minutes before you started, so you decided to go in. You waited in the line, the guy right behind you. You sighed as he spoke to you again. "This your favorite place?" He asked. You nodded and he chuckled. "Me too."

A little confused as to why he was still with you, you ordered your iced coffee and waited for them to make it. The guy stood next to you as he waited for his and you waited in silence. You grabbed your coffee as they called your name and walked quickly towards the corner booth, as far away from his as you could. But, once again, he followed you.
