(y/n pov)

"Cut!" You sighed as you pulled away from Ethan. "Y/N, what's up with you today? You need more emotion." You nodded as you fixed your shirt.

"Sorry." You mumbled. The director groaned as you tried again. "I promise to never leave you," You whispered to Ethan he opened his mouth for his line but was cut off.

"No, cut, cut." Your director made his way over again. Ethan groaned as you sighed again. "Y/N, there are many people who would be dying to be where you are right now." The director said to you.

"I know, I'm sorry," You said quietly.

"Well, sorry isn't going to get us anywhere." He replied. "Get your act together, y/n," He said, walking away. You sighed and nodded to yourself.

"Are we going again?" Your co-star Ethan asked. Your director turned around.

"Take a short break," He said. You nodded. "Okay, let's get to the scene..." He walked away rambling instructions.

You sighed walking up the stairs of the house you were filming in. You walked around until you found the bathroom. You walked in closing the door behind you, not bothering to lock it because you weren't filming in it anyway.

You let the tears fall and sighed. You stared in the mirror at your reflection as your tears slowly fell. You let a sob escape your mouth as you placed a hand over it to silence yourself. You soon heard a knock on the door. "Y-yeah, one sec-second." You stuttered, trying your hardest not to cry. You turned on the tap and splashed some water on your face.

"It's just me," You heard Ethan's voice on the other side. He slowly opened the door and slipped in, locking the door behind him. "Hi." He said. You nodded.

You wiped your face your sleeves and gave him your best smile. "Hey," You said, pushing down the sobs. "Sorry, I just came to gather my composure, does he want us down?" You asked. Ethan shook his head and propped himself up on the sink counter.

"I heard you crying," He said. You pretended to be confused. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Me? Oh yeah, I'm fine," You said. "I was just uh, practicing," You lied. He shook his head.

"Your eyes don't turn that red when fake crying." He said. You looked in the mirror to see your eyes really red. You sighed as you pushed open the tap again. He pushed it down and you looked up at him.

He got down from the counter and stood in front of you. This wasn't new. Ethan and you were falling in love in the movie you were currently filming, but this felt different without the cameras. "Ethan, I'm fine." You said, but the tears had found their way down your cheeks again.

"What happened?" He asked, wrapping his arms around you. You sobbed into his shirt, unable to control your tears. He rubbed your back soothingly. "It's okay, I'm here," He whispered. You cried into him, letting your guard down.

"My-my grandm-ma," You whispered. He held you tight as you covered his short in tears. "She passed, l-last night." You whispered. He squeezed your body in his arms, and you began to cry harder.

"I'm so, so sorry," He whispered into your hair. You pulled away from his slowly and turned to wipe your face. "Y/N?" He asked.

"Sorry, that was r-really unprofessional of me," You said, rubbing your face. He shook his head. "No it- sorry-" He cut you off.

"Stop apologizing," He said. You shook your head and sighed. He made his way over to you and wrapped his arms around you again. "There are no cameras, we don't have to be professional." He whispered.

You let your guard down completely and fisted the front of his t-shirt, wrinkling it. You wanted to scream, but you knew you couldn't. "I-I-I-" You felt him shake his head above you. You held you tighter and you sobbed into his chest.

"It's okay, shh..." He whispered. "Here." He whispered. He pulled you slowly towards the sink and lifted you onto it. You pulled away from his neck as he stood between your legs, waiting for you to calm down.

Moments pass, you wiping at your eyes, only to start crying again. Eventually, you'd calmed down. You looked down at Ethan, still staring up at you. You made eye contact with him and you felt a smile on your lips. He smiled too and soon the two of you were laughing.

"Why am I laughing?" You asked. He shook his head and shrugged. You took a deep breath and looked down at him, wiping your face for the last time. "Ethan, thank you." You said.

"What for?" He asked. You rested your wrist on his shoulder, letting your hand dangle behind him.

"I don't know, for being here," You said. He shrugged. "I just, feel like I should be thanking you, you didn't have to risk your t-shirt for me." You said. He looked down at his shirt, still wet from your tears. He chuckled.

"I have other shirts," He said. You smiled and slipped down from the counter, thinking he would've moved back. He didn't. "Hey," He whispered. You looked up at him and realized your face was inches from yours.

"H-hi." You said, breathing hitching in your throat.

"I'm sorry about your grandma," He whispered. You gulped and sighed. "I wish I could make it better," He whispered again.

"You have," You whispered. He nodded and took your face in his hands. "Ethan?"

"Can I?" He asked. Your eyes darted over his face, realizing he really did want to. You nodded slowly as he placed his lips to yours.

He pulled away moments later, leaving your face flushed and small tears rolling down your cheeks. He wiped them away with his fingers. "Ethan, I-" He cut you short.

"It's okay, don't think about anything, okay?" He said. He pulled you into his arms again and you breathed in his scent. "Wanna go away for a bit?" He asked. You pulled away to look up at him.

"What? Where?" You looked up at him confused. He chuckled. "How?" You asked.

"There's plenty of time to shoot this movie," He started. You nodded. "Let's skip one day, you need it." He said.

"He'd never let us," You whispered, referring to the director. "He's probably looking for us right now to film." You said.

"Okay but, how are they gonna film the movie if they can't find the lead stars?" He asked. You looked up at him confused as he winked at you.
