"How was today, baby?" You ask, greeting Gray with a hug as he walked in. He sighs, grin on his face.
"I got him," He mumbled. You smile, looking up at him.
"Did you really?" You ask after a kiss. He nodded and grinned. "Celebratory dinner then, I think?" You smile and walk into the kitchen, Grayson on your heels.
"Hit him in the back when he left Costco," He said. You laughed.
"Costco?" You ask. He grins as you laugh together. "Did you hand in the body?" You asked. He shook his head.
"Had to cover it up by the store," You raised an eyebrow pouring him a glass of wine. "I called some of the guys, they're getting it," He said, taking the glass.
"I'm glad you're home safe," You said with a smile. "Hey that's always a worry for me," You said with a frown as he laughed.
"I'm always coming back home baby," He said, taking his spaghetti. You nod and sigh. "It was just E who-" You cut him off.
"Let's not talk about that tonight," You said with a smile. "You just completed a 4-month long mission, babe!" You exclaimed. He chuckled.
"Doesn't even make a difference, I'll just get a new one tomorrow," He said with a shake of his head. "I really hope they get the body, can't have the cops finding it," Gray said as he chewed on his food. You nodded.
"I'm sure they'll get it babe, won't take too long." He nods. "You okay, don't seem as happy as I thought you'd be," You say with a frown, pushing his hair back.
"I still can't stop thinking about E," He muttered. You sighed. "I can't believe we were so careless," He said. You gave him a sad smile.
"It's been a few months now, baby," You said. He nodded and you could see a tear roll down his cheek. "Baby," You say as you walk over to wrap your arms around him.
"He was my twin, y/n, how could he just leave like that?" He asked. You sighed and rubbed his back. "I miss him."
"I know you do," You whisper as he cries into your shoulder.
"I wish we could've seen him," He whispered. You looked up.
"I don't know baby, I think its best that you didn't," You whisper. He shakes his head as you nod. "I don't want you to worry over it, I'm sure the gang handled it well," You told him. He nodded and you wiped at his tears.
"This is how they feel, yeah?" He asked. You frowned as you spun his fork to scoop up some spaghetti. You fed it to him. "All the people I kill, they're families are just like this?" You sigh as he frowns, mouthful.
"Don't think about it too much," You whisper. He sighs.
"How?" He asks. You sigh. "They're probably so lost and confused and worried," He mumbled. This was Grayson Dolan's problem.
He was too nice to be a murderer.
"You kill them for the right reasons, baby," You whispered, wiping the sauce off his mouth. "They were bad people."
"They just made mistakes, we're literally taking their lives," He said. "Isn't that even worse?" You run your fingers through his hair to calm him a bit and press a kiss to his cheek.
"They deserve it," You mumble as you feed him some more. He sighs, looking at you, a faraway look in his eyes.
"Did Ethan deserve it?"
