Chapter 3- Gerald's Side

Gerald's side || his pov—chapter 1

I was covering my two ears because of suddenly loud noises that cringe to my senses. Aaack—sobrang nakakairita ang mga boses ng babaeng iyon!

Sabay-sabay kaming bumaba nina Larry, Jade at Alex kung saan halos ilang daan ang mga babaeng tila may pinipilahang concert sa sobrang kapal!

As usual, I'd never anticipate this kind of scene where all girls turning their focus on our spotlight. Hindi naman kami artista but yeah, they always act like we're amateurs even it's for nothing. Sino bang matutuwa na pagkaguluhan ka ng lahat kahit wala ka namang naimbag sa kanila? They keep on giving us such fancy letters with their noble confession, short poems sometimes to be exact like we're not forcing them to lay some cheesy efforts nor mesmerized them at the first place. It's a pretty cool but did I'm rigour if I called this endeavor as flirtatious manner?

They always look upset after they met their self- embarrassment. Well sila naman ang gumagawa ng ikakapahiya nila. Dapat nilang itatak sa kanilang mga utak na may sebo that my name is a siblings for rejection and I have nothing but to be myself. Iyon ako eh, walang mababago.

Sinabihan ko iyong tatlo na iligaw muna saglit ang mga filthy girls dahil tiyak na susundan ako ng mga iyon. Nang masigurong wala ng tao, I opened my bag para kuhanin iyong tinakas kong skateboard. It's been a years since I stopped playing that.

I was standing here at the top of my skateboard and ready to launch in a particular hallway. When I started to pluck my shoes forward, I close my eyes for a moment.

Nang muli kong buksan ang aking mata, I saw a woman walking gently in the corner like slowly walking into the moonlight. Huli na para makapreno ako at nasagi siya ng aking skateboard but then, I tried to pick her up by placing around my arms through her waist and also to compel her balance but we end up, lying against the smooth floor.

I felt my chest argue with pain so I can't stand because of this woman who colonized my body to move. I look directly to her tantalizing eyes that seems full of tiredness yet seductive, did I just describe her appearance?

Her mighty appeal abstract my gaze, damn and I can't resist it! When she tried to pull down her eyes to look out opposite direction, it's torturing me to chase her glance upheld to my existence. Yeah, my pride always save my ego and thoughts.

"What the hell you did, shit!"

I exclaimed to get her back into reality. Nasaksihan ko kung paano siya kumurap and she's really entering into my glamerous mind, goddamn. She stand up and started to fix her uniform that fits her tight waist and having a delectable body, here am I again—describing her for the second fucking time.

"Ay sorry, natamaan ba kita?"

She answered. Her voice is a solemn to my ears but being bastard out of nowhere can't be tolerate. Tumayo na din ako saka siya hinarap.

"Seriously? Few questions does not  affirmly acceptable as well as your not so sincere apology, I know that you're not so stupid as fuck because of what you have done earlier."

I saw her face frowned as if its frightened me. Mukha na siyang kumakain ng sili sa sobrang pula ng mukha, a natural one. Lumapit siya sa'kin habang nakapamewang. Acting like a vendor? Kulang nalang sa kaniya bota at apron.

"Nag-sorry na nga ako diba, ano pa bang ipinuputok ng butchi mo? Tsaka nga pala, sino ba may sabing maglaro ka ng skateboard dito sa loob ng campus? Kahit anak ka pa ng may-ari, dapat ikaw ang mabuting ehemplo sa lahat ng mga nag-aaral dito. Tapos ngayon, lantaran mo namang pinapakita iyang kagaspangan ng ugali mo."

When she said those lines, my blood streams upward and I clenched my fist. Baka hindi ako makapagpigil sa sinabi ng babaeng ito, she's the only girl having this kind of courage to boast her unpolite reasoning on me! She's facing a superior pero kung makasagot sa'kin, parang pinababa niya ang estadong meron ako and I won't hesitate to answered her back the way she abduct my advertence.

"You don't fucking care sa kung anong gusto kong mangyari sa buhay ko at wala ka sa posisyon para diktahan ang lahat ng mga magaganap pa lang. At the first place, ikaw itong tontong nakaharang sa gitna ng dadaanan ko, get it?"

"Aba, napaangas mo din eh no? Kung pinalaki kang brattish child, huwag mong dalhin dito sa academy at mas sinisira mo lang ang image ng may-ari nito! Ako na nga itong nag-magandang loob na humingi ng sorry pero pinairal mo iyang bwisit na pride na iyan!"

Pagtataray niya na hindi uubra sa'kin. Nagtangka pa siyang layasan ako kaya I grabbed her arm to maintain our conversation and ayoko sa lahat ng nilalayasan ako, that should be me as always!

"Ano bang sa tingin mo ang ginagawa mo? Lumayo ka nga sa'kin!"

Pagpupumiglas niya, trying to escape as if that she could. Mas lalo ko pa siyang nilapit sa'kin kaya naramdaman kong kumalabog ng husto ang dibdib niya, don't be so greenminded. What I mean is her fluctuating heartbeats bounces bigger pulses and I chuckled because this was so good for having a big effect on her. I quit laughing when she looks at me seriously straightly into mine without interrupting then suddenly I turn my vision down to her lips that slightly open while busy glimpsing at me. I think that this girl is a kind of sorcerer for having this power to hipnotize me and I can't take it!

"Don't you dare at me to do something gross at you plain girl, baka pagsisihan mong pumasok ka pa sa lintek na eskwelahan na'to."

I take this awkward moment to speak in manipulative way then after, she pushes me so hard.

"Hoy! Wala na bang ni katiting na manners sa katawan mo? Magpabasbas ka sa simbahang katoliko nang maputol na iyang sungay mo! Tsaka, ano iyong tinawag mo sa'kin, plain girl?!"

I laugh out loud then sighed saka ako tumalikod sa presensiya niya. I was about to walk away pero gusto kong mag-iwan ng kakintalan sa kaniya. I can still see her in my peripheral vision.

"It seems that you catch my interest. By the way, I don't have time for having unserviceable disputation with you. See you around plain girl."

My last dialogue without any single sigh to breath before I decided to go. Narinig ko pa ang pagpapadyak niya even meters na ang distance na meron kami. Para siyang batang pinikon ng kaniyang kalaro, so immature.

Habang kampante akong naglalakad ay naramdaman ko sa aking likuran na nakasunod na sina Jade, Larry at Alex sa'kin at nang mapansin ko sila ay saka nila ako sinabayan ng lakad.

"Diba si Sandra iyon? Our superintendent secretary ng literature department? Ano na nangyari sa pagitan niyo?"

"Full name please?"

I asked Larry since he was the one who open the topic which is the main key is that plain girl I have met recently.

"Sandra Jeremiah Carte, she's also a scholar ng papa mo."

Nagulat ako ng kaunti sa dagdag impormasyon ni Larry. Seriously? May mga pinag-aaral din pala dito si papa ng mga katulad niya? I smirked.

"Woy dude, stop smirking. Kung ano man iyang binabalak mo—huwag mo na ituloy. Huwag mo itulad si Sandra sa mga babaeng ilang beses mo ng binasura at pinaglaruan."

Sabay-sabay kaming nagkatinginan sa pahayag ni Alex. Why he's telling na parang kilala niya yung babaeng tinutukoy ko? Protecting against my actions?

"Oh, bakit ganiyan mga tinginan niyo sa'kin mga dude? Chill, what I meant to say is huwag naman natin lahatin lahat ng babaeng gagawan niyo ng kung ano."

Dahan-dahan kaming tumango while deep inside, I'm not yet convinced. There's a something I want to confirm yet I don't gather some evidences. No, imposible ang iniisip ko. Imposibleng may gusto si Alex sa plain girl na iyon.

So Sandra Jeremiah Is her name? Mukhang ginaganahan tuloy akong pumasok sa mga katulad niyang walang takot na angasan ko.
