"Minji, please eat your food." Jin pleaded with a very hyperactive Minji.
Minji was so happy that Jin was up and doing things for her. She loved her dad, but he didn't make her mornings as exciting as Jin did. Maybe it was because she was used to seeing Jin more than her father.
"Jinnie, are you okay? Can I have a hug?" Minji asked as she ran and jumped onto a very weak Jin. Jin used one of his arms to hold Minji up and the other to grab onto the kitchen counter.
He was feeling very sick; he had spent the majority of the night last night throwing up and sweating. His stomach had a very nervous feeling to it, making him nauseous. Not to mention the cramps he was having. He didn't know something like that could leave such an effect on his body. He wanted nothing more than to lay in bed all day and do absolutely nothing, but he knew it wasn't something he could do.
Therefore, he sucked it up and dragged himself out of bed to ensure he got Minji up and ready for school.
"Why do you look like you are in pain?" Taehyung questions as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed the plate that was to the far left of the stove.
"Good morning Taehyung," Jin responded coldly before placing Minji on her feet to stand.
"Minji, you need to eat, or we will be late for school today. I expect by the time I am done cleaning up the kitchen, you must be finished with your breakfast." Jin said weakly to Minji. He had intended to speak to her in a firmer tone, but the pain that surge through his body didn't allow for it to be projected that way.
"Okay, Jinnie, I will eat. Daddy, Jinnie is better, so you don't have to take me to school today. Jinnie is going to take me." Minji climbed up on her chair and began picking at her food.
"Are you saying you don't like it when I take you to school?" Taehyung teased at his daughter. He had chosen to ignore the way Jin had responded to him.
Minji giggled and stuffed her face, not answering him.
"How are you feeling, Jin? Do you still have the stomach bug? If you do, I thought if you wanted, you could have another day off. I can take Minji to school; I am not doing anything today." Taehyung had reflected on what Jimin had told him the night before and decided that he would get up earlier than he needed to see if Jin wanted to take the day off.
"I am fine. I don't need the day off either. I will take her to school. I need to pick up groceries and run a few errands of my own." Jin said, smiling at Taehyung.
Taehyung noticed how Jin gripped onto the counter for support as he stood in front of him. He also recognized how pale he looked, but was still indicating that he was doing okay.
"Alrighty then if you insist. I will be home all day today. Can you make steak and shrimp for dinner? I don't think we have any shrimp here, so pick some up at the supermarket while you are at it." Taehyung took his plate with his breakfast and walked out of the kitchen. But not before kissing his daughter and wishing her a good day at school.
"asshole," Jin muttered under his breath before turning around the kitchen sink to clean the dishes that were in there. The dishes Taehyung had used from the night before were still in the sink as well; he hadn't cleaned the kitchen even though he had cooked for him and Minji.
A plate fell out of his hand onto the floor as a pain shot through his stomach, causing him to let out a silent cry.
"Jinnie, are you okay?" Minji rushes over to Jin. "Don't come any closer, or you will get cut by splinters. Jinnie is fine. The plate was slippery." Jin uttered before crouching down to the floor in pain to pick up the broken pieces of plate that had fallen.
Taehyung stood by the side of the kitchen door and watched what had taken place. He knew something was off with Seokjin, but he didn't understand why Jin was lying and pretending to be okay.
He shook his head, annoyed, and walked away.

As soon as Jin had dropped Minji off to school, he drove himself to the one person home; he knew he could allow himself to find comfort with.
He had taken a shower and curled up in their bed, hugging one of the body pillows that made him feel untroubled. He had spent most of the day crying as numerous thoughts flowed through his mind.
Jimin kept calling him, but he didn't want to talk to him or anyone for that matter. He just wanted to be alone for a while. There was an empty feeling within him, and he didn't know how to get rid of it.
The room door opened, and Namjoon was shocked to find Jin curled up in his bed. "What a lovely surprise this is," Namjoon commented with a smile, but when he walked over to the bed and saw Jin's face, his smile turned into a frown.
"What's wrong?" He questioned as he stared at Jin puzzled.
Jin didn't answer Namjoon; he only stared at him with a blank expression.
"You don't want to talk about it?" Namjoon inquired, and Jin gave him a nod.
"Okay, we don't have to. I will go shower, and then you can cry in my arms if you want to." Namjoon said and walked out of the room.
Out of everyone Jin had ever been around, Namjoon was the only one he ever felt understood him. He didn't ask unnecessary questions, and he just allowed him to be. He could always come and go as he pleased and that for him was all he needed.

Minji's Sitter:
I won't be able to get Minji from school today. Neither can I make dinner. Can you please pick her up, something urgent came up.
Taehyung almost threw his phone across the room as he read the text Jin had sent him.
