"Come on, clap louder for Appa," Tae said to his three-year-old daughter, who was standing on the chair next to him.
He looked on the other side of him to see Minji smiling widely and cheering for her Appa, making him smile.
His husband had finally done it, after many late nights and early mornings, he had finished not only his bachelor's but his graduate degree. Taehyung knew how many times he wanted to quit, especially after their daughter had been born. Still, he never allowed him to, being his motivator, he encouraged and pushed him to continue.
Helping him to study when he needed him to. Now he smiled happily, seeing him accept his achievements that he worked hard for. Taehyung knew it had to have been hard when he went to school; he didn't have any responsibility, and it was still hard for him. So, he could only imagine how hard it must have been for his husband with two kids, and taking on the responsibility of keeping their home in order.
"Appa," Nari said, pointing towards the stage at Jin.
Taehyung picks her up in his arms and kisses her cheek, "yes, that's your Appa." Using his other hand, he pulled Minji closer to him, who was looking at him weirdly as she has never remembered seeing her dad so happy.
"You did it, Kim Seokjin!" Taehyung yelled out, making Jin freeze as he was taking his step down from the stage. He could see everyone looking at Taehyung, making him lower his head as he walks down the stairs. Turning into the other direction out of embarrassment, he exits the room.

"Who graduated today?!" Taehyung questioned as he dances his way to the dining table where Jimin, Jungkook, and their kids sat along with his family.
"Oh, gosh." Jin buried his face into his hand as he tried to look at Taehyung. There was not a person they had come in contact with for the day that didn't know Jin had graduated. Taehyung had made it his duty, so everyone congratulated his husband.
Jimin smiled at his brother and placed his hand over his, "don't be shy; it's a moment worth celebrating; let him cheer about it."
"Agreed, what you did wasn't easy. I think all of us here went to school before having kids, and we certainly struggled, but look at you, you did while having two, and keeping up with your marriage, that's not easy. You should be extremely proud of yourself." Jungkook added, smiling at Jin.
"I am happy about it, but everyone does not need to know. I doubt our neighbors even knew I was in school-"
"They did, I told them when I gave them Christmas cards," Taehyung said proudly, taking his seat next to Jin.
"He told my teacher too," Minji added.
"I only told Ms. Michelle, because she asked how come I had been taking you to school."
Jin chuckled and shook his head as his husband tried defending himself to their daughter. Deep down, it made him happy to have the support he had when it came to Taehyung. Had it not been for him, he would've quit school, and had it not been for Taehyung and his therapist at the time, he would have never started school, to begin with.
"Jin, mom, and dad said they want to meet Nari. I told them it's likely that will never happen, but they said to tell you anyway that meeting their grandchild and your husband would mean a lot to them."
The room became silent except for Nari and Jimin's youngest daughter that were playing together.
Jin took his time to register what he was hearing before he responded, "you can let them know so as long as I am living, they will never see my kids or my husband. Fuck they mean they want to see my daughter."
