Fifty-Nine

Taehyung looked at Jin in shock, then a smile broke out on his face, and he pulled Jin into a kiss, surprising Jin.

Jin pulled back from their kiss and looked at Taehyung, who was looking at him, confused, "aren't you going to ask me how it happened?" Jin asked, perplexed, thinking maybe Taehyung was not taking him seriously, and that was something he did not need at the moment. Telling Taehyung, he is pregnant, has got to be the hardest thing he has ever done.

Taehyung chuckled, "Jin, I have Minji, I think I know how you got pregnant."

"No, not that, I mean you know I was on birth control-"

"And we spent an amazing weekend together, one you didn't know we were having until we got there. If I am right, you didn't have your pills with you, and once you realize it, it was too late. Hence why you have been pushing for me to wear condoms since then."

Jin couldn't stop his mouth from falling, opening, "d-did, you know?"

"I had a feeling, but I wasn't sure until you asked that question. I told you, no secrets between us, were you scared to tell me?"

Jin falls back onto the bed at Taehyung's question. "I- I don't know."

Taehyung pushed Jin's legs apart and settles between then as he leans down onto Jin, "tell me something Seokjin."

"What is it?" Jin looks up at Taehyung, who is looking at him in the eyes.

"Do you love me? Do you love what we have going on?"

Jin pouts at Taehyung's question, "yes, of course, I do, why are you asking me that?"

Taehyung leans forward and kisses Jin's pouting lips, "then you shouldn't have been worried about anything. Whether I wanted another child or not, we are in this together. You need to get used to sharing things with me openly and freely, not worrying if it's going to make me upset or not. No matter what it is, we will get through it together; trust me, okay?"

Jin sighs and looks at Taehyung, "Trusting you is what got me pregnant."

"Oh no, we will not blame this on me. Clearly, you are the fertile one, and I think after our baby is born, condoms and birth control is going to be a necessity for us. If not, we will have a kid every year." Taehyung said with a laugh, and Jin frowned.

"So, are you saying you don't want to have kids with me?"

Taehyung's eyes went wide at the question, "Jin no-"

Jin burst out laughing and pulled Taehyung closer to him, "I am messing with you. I know what you meant, and I am okay with birth control and condoms, but I have one request."

"And what's that?"

"If it's a girl, I want us to try again for a boy, that's all, but if it's a boy, then I am good, as long as you are okay with that too."

Jin shifted on the bed when he felt Taehyung's fingers rub against his hole.

"W-wait, what are you doing?"

Taehyung smirked and looked up at Jin, "I think it's going to be a girl, so let us start practicing for the boy tonight."

"I am already pregnant silly."

"That's why it's called practiced Seokjin."

One Month Later

"So, I am not going to be the only child anymore? Am I being replaced?" Minji asked with almost tears in her eyes.

Her life was turning out great, Jin had moved in two weeks now, and he would tuck her in bed every night, sometimes even falling asleep with her making her happy.

Jin and her father took turns in reading her bedtime stories each night, which made Minji feel like a prince. She got to cook with both of them and even go shopping with Jin, which was something she loved and look forward to.

She also preferred going food shopping with Jin but didn't like it when Taehyung came along because, as usual, he looked to picked up the healthy stuff, stuff Minji didn't like. However, Jin being there always got her what she wanted.

But now that was all changing, or at least how Minji saw it knowing Jin was having a baby. A baby that was going to be his baby, and not her; she wasn't his baby. No matter how much she wanted to be, the truth was she wasn't her Appa was gone, and now Jin, instead of being her Appa, was going to be someone else's Appa. Life was unfair, and Minji hated it.

"Sweetie, you can never be replaced." Taehyung tries reassuring his daughter as he pulls her into his arms. He hadn't expected that Minji would react like this.

"Maybe not to you, but to him. He is having his own baby, and now he will never be my Appa, it will be only the baby and all about the baby." Minji buried her face into Tae's chest and started crying hysterically.

Jin, with tears falling from his own eyes, moved from the seat he was in and took Minji away from Taehyung. "Minji, please, don't cry. This baby isn't going to replace you. That can never happen; you are one of a kind, my first daughter, no one can replace you in my heart. I didn't tell you to call me Appa because I don't want to replace the place your Appa has in your heart, but if you want, you can call me Appa too. You are our baby girl, your father and I love you very much. This baby, I am sure, will love you even more as we know you are going to be the best big sister ever.

You can help us to care for the baby; the baby will need you too. He/she is going to need a sister. None of this would have been possible without you, Minji, so know that no one, no matter who they are, can never replace you. This baby is only an addition to our family; they are not meant to take away how we feel about you. You are my irreplaceable child."

Taehyung could not help himself as he snapped a picture of Jin and Minji as the two of them looked into each other's eyes with tears running down their cheeks. Hearing Jin speaks those words to his daughter confirmed just how irreplaceable all three were to him.
