Taehyung pulled an annoyed Jin along with him to the restaurant he had reserved for the two of them. It was bad enough they were already late to dinner, due to Minji going to bed late, but Jin putting up a fuss made them a lot later.

Taehyung couldn't take it anymore, so he lifted Jin over his shoulder and walked with him out of the room and never sets him down until they arrived in the restaurant. The waiter for the night had their eyes fixed on the two of them, but neither of them paid him no mind. Taehyung was too busy trying to make sure Jin followed him, and Jin was too busy trying to figure out an escape.

However, when he saw the table with the wine bottle, his eyes lit up. " Is that a bottle of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru?" Jin pulled closer to the table, making sure he saw right. There was no way Taehyung had bought such an expensive and rare wine.

"It is, and if you have dinner with me, you will get to drink with me too," Taehyung smirked, pulling out the chair for Jin to sit.

Jin frowned, "are you trying to use a bottle of wine to get me to have dinner with you? Isn't this exploitation?"

"You mean bribery?" Taehyung bit into his lip to hide his smile.

"Same thing!" Jin rolled his eyes and sat down, eyeing the bottle of wine intently, he could already taste it on his lips. If there was something better than sex, it was this wine.

"If you say so, Seokjin. Anyway, if you should know, I was not trying to use this wine as a way to "exploit" you to have dinner with me. I wanted to present you with something fitting to your sophisticated palate."

"My what now?" Jin glared at Taehyung. "Can you please speak properly. It's bad already that you are exploiting me, but using fancy words to throw me off is even worse. Is this what it means to have a boyfriend?"

The waiter pouring the two a glass of water, almost spilled some as he tried to hide his laugh.

"So, are you admitting that you are my boyfriend?" Taehyung ignored the waiter and leaned closer to look at Jin. Jin pulled back, leaning on his chair, creating distance between him and Taehyung.

"I never said that, and don't try to move away from the real conversation here. Why did you buy such an expensive wine?"

"I wanted to give you a treat, did I do wrong? This is our first date, and I was hoping I could do something to make it special and memorable." Taehyung was no longer smiling; he was serious. However, he highly doubts Jin was taking him seriously.

"Hmm, if you say so. Just know we are not having sex, so in case you were hoping for a treat too, let me make it clear from now."

"I wasn't-"

Jin didn't allow Taehyung to finish before cutting him off, "Good, cause I don't want you saying I drank your wine and left you hanging. Now, can we start eating? I am hungry."

"You are unique; you know that? And yes, we can start eating. I will let the waiter know we are ready so that he can bring us our food." Taehyung smiled at Jin and signaled for the waiter.

"Wait, you ordered already? How do you know what I want? If I got a sophisticated pali- you know what I mean, shouldn't I choose my food? You did well with choosing the wine, but I can't trust you with my food." Jin took a sip of the wine and leaned his head back; the taste of the wine was magical. It brought back memories from his very first babysitting job.

"I ordered a variety; I am sure you will love it, trust me," Taehyung stated and reached for his glass with water. Seokjin was not making it a comfortable night for him, even though he had planned everything out to the best of his ability.

"For a first date, you are asking for a lot. Trust, and you shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence." Jin looked at Taehyung and shook his head.

"Understood," Taehyung whispered and finished his water.

"That's all you are going to say? You are not going to challenge me?" Jin was annoyed that Taehyung wasn't rebutting him, where was the fun, if he was the only one doing it.

"Why? If it's how you feel, I must accept it. I know I have done a lot to lose your trust, so there is no reason for me to challenge. The most I can do now is prove to you that I mean everything I have been saying, that includes me liking you."

Jin lets out a heavy sigh; he was feeling uncomfortable, he didn't want Taehyung saying stuff like that to him. "Where is the food?"

"I am sure it will be here soon until then, tell me, besides babysitting was there anything you wanted to do?" Taehyung decided to use the opportunity to get to know more about Jin.

Jin poured himself another drink of the wine and started sipping it. "I wanted to be a teacher or child service worker. Someone who helps kids and protect them." Jin responded to Taehyung honestly.

"Interesting, why?" Taehyung had a sense why, but he wanted to hear Jin answer himself.

"Well, besides parents, I see Teachers as someone who can notice things, you know. Like if a child is happy one day and sad the next, they can ask questions, or talk to the kid to find out what's wrong. A child service worker, well, they protect kids and remove them from places and situations that are not healthy for them. I think it would've been nice to be one of those. That's what I would've become if I had the chance." Jin spoke from his heart while drinking another glass of wine.

Taehyung could see the sadness that was in his eyes as he spoke, and he felt hurt by it. "You know it's not too late, right? You can still be a teacher, or even a child service worker, I think you would have to go to school to be a Social Worker, but you can still do it."

Jin burst out laughing, "Right, with what brain? You want to see me fail, don't you?"

"Don't say that you are a smart guy, I know for sure you wouldn't fail either. Kids would be blessed to have someone like you as a teacher or even a counselor."

Jin sets his glass down and looks at Taehyung, "Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to make me think you care? When since you became a motivational speaker?"

"I am only trying to be a good boyfriend." Taehyung reached over and pulled Jin's hand into his.

"Well, you are doing a horrible job!" Jin pulled his hand away from Taehyung.

"So, you are admitting I am your boyfriend?"

"Here you go again, when did I say that?"

"Well, you didn't say I wasn't."

"Whatever, where is the food, I am hungry, and it's hot in here, can you ask them to turn on the air conditioner?" Jin turned the glass of water to his head.
