*1 Month Later*

Peter's POV

"How's this one Peter?" Jamie asked holding up a long red strapless dress. I smiled, politely nodding my head.

"I think that's the one Jamie," I answered, truthfully uninterested. I hadn't seen Lyric for longer than 5 minutes a day in a month! She's been so busy with everything and I desperately wanted to see my girlfriend.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Jamie frowned.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I just kinda miss Lyric. It's pretty clingy of me actually." I dismissed.

"You two usually see each other every day or something?"

"No, it's just..." I got flashbacks of Lyric with Thomas and everything that happened because I wasn't there for her. I shook my head. "Last time I wasn't there, bad things happened." Jamie hummed in acknowledgment before taking my hand in hers.

"Lyric will be fine. You need to take care of you Pete and stop worrying yourself, Mmkay?" She encouraged. I smiled slightly and nodded.

"Thanks, J," I said. Jamie took the red dress off the rack and placed it on her bed.

"Tony really is the best for bringing me all these dresses to choose from." She said excitedly.

"Yeah, Mr. Stark is like that." Just then my phone vibrated and I saw Lyric's name pop up.

Stuck at the venue. Bring my dress, shoes, and makeup?

I smiled at the message and looked to Jamie.

"J, mind if we go for a ride real quick?" I asked.

*At The Venue*

Jamie and I walked in to see the room decorated with silver and black streamers. The bar was being stocked and there, barking orders in the middle was my girlfriend. Lyric wore slides, avengers socks, black leggings, and my midtown hoodie. Her hair was up in a messy bun, curls falling into her face.

She looked radiant.

"Listen, rich people are gonna wanna walk on that gold carpet from the minute they get out their limo! It needs to start from the sidewalk to the door!" Lyric yelled. She pulled a pencil from behind her ear and I could catch the flash of her ring.

"Timmy, talk to me, how are we doing with time?" Lyric asked.

"The band should be here in 20, guests here in an hour." A man replied. Lyric just sighed and began to rub her temples. Just as I was about to speak, a voice was heard over mine.

"Need a pick me up?" Lyric, Jamie, and I looked toward the door where a familiar guy was holding a tray with two cups of ice coffee and a brown paper bag.

"Jack! What are you doing here?" Lyric smiled. She put down the clipboard and walked towards him.

Jack? From the lab? Since when do they know each other?

"Aunt Pepper told me you've been here all day and I know if I don't remind you to have lunch, you'll completely forget. I decided to continue the tradition and have some lunch with you." He explained. Lunch? Together? She's been eating with him?

"Sister!" Jamie called. Lyric and Jack looked toward Jamie and me.

"Hey! When did you guys get here?" Lyric asked. She walked over to me and I pulled her into a hug.

"Pretty much just got here. The place looks great." I complimented, leaving my arm wrapped around her waist.

"Hey, Parker. How'd they let you leave the lab?" Jack asked. I gave a fake smile.
