*1 Week Later*

Lyric's POV

My breathing was slow and shallow, my eyes barely open. I could hear the door open, but I couldn't see who it is. Where am I again?

"Ready to come down?" A male voice asked. Strucker?

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'll be good I promise." I whimpered.

"I've been monitoring you. The baby is fine in case you were curious."

"Baby...my baby?"

"Hmm, you're slipping into hypothermia. Seems as though you're susceptible to suggestion. I'll let you out, only if you do something for me first, beautiful."

"A-Anything, please."

"You'll stay with me, live with me, and together we'll raise the baby, as our own." I didn't understand what he was saying. A baby? Why would I have a baby with Strucker? What did I do this time? I wanted to cry but I didn't have any tears left to cry.

"Yes, I'll do it." I sobbed pitifully. I was released from my chains and dropped into Strucker's arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck, greedy for his warmth.

"I have a bath running for you, darling. I'm gonna take care of you." He whispered in my ear.

"Th-thank you, sir." I stuttered.

"Harry is fine, love."

*Later*

I woke up gasping for breath. An I.V. was in my wrist sending fluids to my body. I was clad in a large fluffy sleeping shirt and pants. On top of that, I was covered in a huge blanket. I sat up and looked around in the orange room. Then Harry walked in.

It wasn't Strucker...I was hallucinating.

That means I promised Harry my child, and by God, I knew he'd hold me to it.

"You're awake! You've been asleep for about 8 hours." He smiled.

"I...I needed the rest. Thank you...for saving me. You've always been saving me, Harry." I choked out, plastering a fake bashful smile on my face. Harry sat next to me on the bed and took my hand in his.

"I thought it was the hypothermia, but it seems you've changed your mind towards me." He said.

"You've seen me through so much. I don't know why it's taken me so long, but it's always been you, Harry. Even when I hated you, I just hated that you reminded me of Hydra. Plus, my family didn't have such a positive reaction to you, but I'm older now and I think for myself. I think I might be seeing you for the first time." I lied, you know like a liar. I had to tell him what he wanted to hear and, by the pleased look on his face, it was working.

"I knew you would. It was just a matter of time." Harry whispered before connecting our lips. It felt wrong, but I had to kiss him back. I needed to play along with his twisted imaginary life if I wanted to get rid of him once and for all.

I had to go deep undercover, even if it meant I wouldn't see my family for a while.

Harry pulled back first, caressing my cheek.

"I'm gonna tell Jamie to get started on dinner. We can have a little date, right up here." He suggested.

"I'd like that," I said, biting my lip. Harry smiled once again before leaving the room. Instantly my mind wandered to Peter, the twins, and everyone else.

I was gonna have to unlock the old me from Hydra if I was gonna survive and complete this mission.
