Peter's POV

*1 Day Until The Week is Over*

I stood outside the abandoned warehouse in a tree and took a deep breath.

For Lyric...

I shot a web to one of the open windows and got in quietly, adhering to the ceiling. I immediately heard voices.

"They can't seriously be willing to let her die?" Thomas scoffed.

"They'll be here, I just know it. They wouldn't let her die. They care for her too much." Harry replied. Their voices were coming from down the hall. The only light illuminating the dark house was from candles.

"We should've just brought her here. You said we could have her!" Thomas whined.

"Where is all this we nonsense coming from. Lyric always has been and forever will be mine. I'm not sharing her with some rapist." Harry cackled.

"Then what am I here for?"

"I only brought you back for dramatic effect." I heard Harry walking away and Thomas groan in frustration. Thomas rolled into the room, muttering about Harry, and pushed himself out of his chair, and on to the bed. He blew out the candle from the table and closed his eyes.

This is my chance.

I crept further into the room, turning on my night vision in the suit. Thomas laid on the bed on his back. I quickly webbed his mouth to silence him, and his arms to the bed. I lit a candle and looked down at his prone body.

"I'm here for the antidote." I hissed. Thomas mumbled something unintelligible and I rolled my eyes. I punched him in the face and pulled him to me by his collar.

"I'm gonna un-web your mouth and then I want the damn antidote, alright?" I whispered. Thomas nodded timidly and I did as I said I would.

"I could be killed for this, you know that right?" He whispered harshly.

"I wish you would be, but I need that antidote. Where is it?" I asked.

"In my wheelchair. Harry was convinced I'd keep it safe." I walked over to the wheelchair when I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand at attention.

Someone's here...

I turned quickly, shooting my web at a figure. They flew back against the wall and I saw it was Jamie.

"What are you even doing here?" I whispered lowly.

"Lyric is the reason mom killed dad. Because he loved her more than me or mom. It's all her fault." Jamie whimpered angrily. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"You all have the pettiest reasons for trying to kill her...actually killing a person," I barked, "Thomas you're just mad that she spoke out about how you raped her and Jamie, you act like she made her father do any of that. You both make me sick." I webbed Jamie's mouth before re-webbing Thomas's. I grabbed the antidote and looked to the window I entered from.

"Spider-Man...what a surprise," Harry spoke from the doorway. He held a match in his hand, a button in the other, and a sinister smile on his face.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I knew someone would come, but I didn't plan for it to be you. I guess it's time to test your hero abilities."

"What are you talking about?!"

"That's not the real antidote. The real one is in the basement. You can save those two over there or the antidote, but you won't have time for both. Make your choice." Harry pressed a button, shocking Jamie until she was unconscious, and dropped the match, flames beginning to take form. My eyes widened as I looked at the two people webbed at my feet.
