Lyric's POV
I sat on my bed as Liz rummaged through my closet.
"Ugh, why do you own so much pink?" She asked.
"You're asking me," I mumbled as Jamie came barging into my room. "What's your stress?"
"You're supposed to be out with Jack tonight, aren't you?" She frowned.
"He's coming here, we're watching a movie tonight."
"Ugh no! Peter and I were gonna watch a movie." A devious idea popped up in my head.
"We can all watch a movie. Like a double date or something." I suggested.
"Lyric! Tonight we were supposed to...ya know." Jamie blushed. Liz and I both gasped.
"Jamie, what the hell? You're a child!" I scolded.
"It's my body," Jamie grumbled.
"Your little sister is already planning to cash in her V-card before you, Lyr. That's shameful." Liz giggled.
"Shut up and go home, Liz. We'll hang out tomorrow at the mall, I still gotta go shopping for a dress." I said, leading Liz to the door.
"Whatever, just make sure you text me later. Bye." She sang. I looked at Jamie and shook my head.
"What makes you think you have to give yourself up to Peter so soon?" I asked, half furious that she would even think to do that to MY future husband, and half concerned.
"I don't think he likes me as much as I like him. I need to do something." Jamie confessed.
"Giving up your virginity isn't gonna guarantee that Peter's gonna stay, J. If it doesn't work out, y'all just weren't meant to be," I said. Damn, I really am a good sister (minus the stealing her boyfriend part). Jamie nodded and sighed in resignation.
"I guess I should go and set up the living room for a double movie date." She said before leaving me.

"So what movie should we watch?" Jamie asked.
"Star Wars!" Peter and I cheered. He laughed and looked over at me.
"I didn't know you like Star Wars." He smiled.
"A friend got me hooked," I replied.
"How about we watch Fast and the Furious?" Jack suggested.
"I kinda wanna watch a rom-com." Jamie frowned.
"How about the one on Netflix? To All The Boys I've Loved Before." I offered.
"Oh yes!" Jamie squealed. The boys accepted their fate and sat back as Jamie put on the movie. Jamie placed herself between Peter's legs, her head on his chest, his chin resting on her head. Jack casually put an arm around my shoulder and snuggled in close to me.
"Peter Kavinsky is such a cutie." I smiled swooning over the main character.
"There's nothing special about him." Jack and Peter both said defensively.
"Y'all don't need to get jealous, besides I got my own Peter right here." Jamie grinned, kissing Peter's cheek.
"What the hell? Is Lara Jean ever gonna get her scrunchie back?" Peter asked.
"Thank you!" Jamie and I muttered bitterly.
"I don't get it. Kavinsky literally declined her letter in the beginning and now he's saying he's in love with her after 3 months? There's no way." Jack scoffed.
"I think he means it. Like, Peter was so blinded by Gen that he couldn't see the other girls in front of him and his relationship with Gen was pretty much him trying to keep them together. But with Lara Jean, there was give and take on both sides, like a real relationship should have. He definitely loves Lara Jean, he looks at her like she hung the stars in the sky." I explained.
"I agree, I mean, he's smiling, genuinely smiling with Lara Jean. He hasn't done that in a while." Peter smiled, looking at me.
"Okay but who said Gen didn't love Peter, too! And besides, it was pretty crappy that Lara Jean kissed him when she knew Gen liked him." Jamie glared.
"It was just meant to be," I smirked.
"But Lara Jean truly loved Josh first. She even said it." Jack added.
"They're better as friends." Peter and I chorused. I smiled at Peter before Jamie abruptly stood up.
"This movie was trash." She scoffed, turning to race up the stairs.
"J!" I called. I excused myself and ran after her.
"Jamie let me in. What's wrong?" I asked.
"Why the hell are you flirting with Peter? You act like Jack and I aren't even there." She sniffled, a tear escaping her eye.
"Jamie, Peter was my friend before he was your boyfriend."
"Bullshit! You never even paid attention to him."
"That was the old me."
"Well, I wish the old you would come back!" With that, Jamie slammed the door to her room.
"What about the movie date?" I sighed.
"Tell them to go home!" She sobbed. I went back down the stairs and apologetically kicked the guys out of the house. I sat on the couch with only the night light on when the front door opened. I was only expecting to see dad or Jenny but instead Amber walked through the door.
"Amber!" I gasped, running toward her.
"Hey, Lyric. Is dad home?" Amber chuckled, hugging me.
"No, do you need him?"
"I just came to drop off something for him. He left his plans over at Stark Tower and asked me to pick 'em up. Where's Jamie?"
"Lowkey mad at me." Amber frowned and led me to the chair.
"What'chu mean?" She asked.
"Well, she's dating Peter and Peter likes me, but we're friends I'm pretty sure and she thinks I'm trying to steal him," I said.
"Do you like Peter?"
"There are worse options than Peter Parker."
"That's not what I asked." I hesitated before finally saying how I truly felt,
"I think he's my soulmate, Ambs. He's so adorably dorky and he looks at me and I feel like mush. I can't stand seeing him with Jamie, but she's my sister, but dammit, he liked me first!" I ranted. Amber smiled at me slightly shaking her head.
"I knew you had some crazy in you girl, I was just waiting for it. You're stupid smart like dad, but you're just as passionate as him too. No wonder you're his favorite." She teased. I let out a breath of relief, looking at my older sibling.
"What do I do? This life...it's everything I've ever wanted, but not without Peter. I'd rather lose everything I have than not have him." I said seriously.
"You're really serious about this boy."
"If only you knew what we've been through."
"Listen, I'm not condoning anything I tell you, but sis, you gotta see if you're gonna be a homewrecker or a home improver. If it's an improvement, steal her man!"
"You're right. God, we're the worst sisters ever." I giggled.
"Jamie is a little brat. She always has to get her way and I'm tired of it. Get what you deserve, Lyric." Amber smiled, putting the papers on the table. "I'll be back again next week or so. Take care."
"Bye Ambs." She left and I looked down at the papers on the table. I picked them up but immediately dropped them as I saw what they were about.
