"Warp us home." Bismuth looked down at Pearl.
Pearl nods and activated the warp once everyone was on. She looked at Steven the whole time as he started to get pale. "...no, we're taking him to Rose's Garden and putting him into the healing pools."
"What?! Pearl we don't have any time to waste. Steven is hurt real bad, he could die from an injury like this." Connie looked up at her concerned.
"And what if he dies from the human treatment that your mother will try to give him? Connie, he is a gem too, and what we're going to do will be most effective to his body." Pearl tried to explain as the group landed in Rose's Garden.
They all made their way into the enclosed fountain area that has been modified. Peridot was able to build up machines that absorbed some energy of the other Diamonds. There were color coordinate rods on each corner of the pool glowing lightly, but Pink's rod wasn't glowing at all.
"Let me just get the power flowing from my lovely creations here and Steven will be good to go." Peridot walked over to a control panel and started pressing several buttons.
Bismuth walked down the small steps into the pool with Steven in her arms. "I got you, just relax." She looked back at Peridot. "I'm ready when you are."
Peridot nods holding up her hand giving a thumbs up. "You're clear." She pulled a lever and the waters pour into the pool. A soft humming come from each colored rod as the waters glow lightly. The pink-colored rod started to glow as the waters touched Steven's body.
"Alright Pink, it's up to you to help Steven." Bismuth frowns softly letting go of Steven's body.
Steven slowly sank into the water.
Everyone stood by watching to see what would happen. Connie looked really upset. "This is crazy, he could be dying."
"It will work Connie. You've been healed by his healing powers before. And you've seen what he can do. Plus with the combined energy of the other Diamonds this will be three times more effective." Pearl kneels down to try and comfort Connie.
Bismuth made sure that Steven didn't go all the way under. She kept his head above the water. "Come on Steven, you can pull through this. I believe in you."
Seconds slowly go by. Then minutes start to pass as nothing was happening. Amethyst looked up at Garnet. "How long has it been?"
"About three minutes." Garnet lowered her head starting to get a little worried.
Bismuth was about ready to lift Steven out of the waters calling it quits but gasps when the gem slowly glowed. "Hey, hey! His gem is healing!" She looked back at everyone.
Connie looked up. "What about his back?"
Bismuth got onto her knees and the water goes up to her chest. "Sorry if this hurts." She apologized in advance as she slowly takes Stevens torn jacket off, then his blue shirt. She turned his body to the side. "It's closing up but very, very slowly."
"Did the bleeding stop?" Connie asked.
"Yeah." Bismuth turned Steven back over. "I think he's waking up."
"We should get him to my mom now. She'll be able to close up the wound herself." Connie tried to convince them to get Steven home.
Garnet looked up adjusting her glasses. "Maybe we should. If his gem is healed up then all the damage that is done to his body is untreatable if it's not already healed. Bismuth, bring him out."
