Steven let out a loud sigh of relief as he stepped out of the bathroom after finishing his shower. "Oh man, I needed that." He smiled brightly taking the towel from around his shoulders and rubbed it through his hair drying it off. "I wonder what Connie is up to?" He looked down the hallway towards the direction of her bedroom. "Connie?" He called out softly.

"I'm downstairs Steven!" Connie yells loud enough for him to hear.

Steven turned and slowly made his way downstairs towards the Living Room. He noticed that there was an extra being in the room. "Mr. Maheshwaran."

"Well hello there Steven, it's been a while since I've seen you." Doug smiled from his recliner. "Pajamas already? Isn't it a little early for bed?"

Steven looked down at himself. "Yeah, today was pretty exhausting for me."

"Excuse me?" Mrs. Maheshwaran narrowed her eyes. "What was my one request while you stayed here at my house?"

Steven gulps lightly rubbing the back of his head. "To relax?"

"Mom we didn't do anything major. Steven was having trouble with his emotions and I simply suggested that we go to a therapist to figure out what was wrong. That's all we did today and nothing else." Connie stood up for Steven. "Don't be angry with him. I'm the one that got him to leave the house, I'm the one that didn't let him rest."

"Connie." Steven walked over slowly to sit down next to her. "It's okay, you don't need to do this. It's my fault that we had to go in the first place."

"But Steven we wouldn't have left the house if I didn't suggest it." Connie frowns leaning into him.

Steven wrapped his arms around Connie gently giving her a comforting hug. "I know babe, I know. But we can't ignore the fact that it was my fault to start with. I was scaring you and breaking things... I wasn't safe to be around." He frowns holding her closer.

Doug tilts his head watching the two of them then became concerned hearing the confessions in the conversation. "Were you being violent with my daughter?"

"What?!" Mrs. Maheshwaran sat up in her seat. "Is that true?!"

Connie looked over quickly. "Daddy no! He didn't do anything to me."

"Then what happened?" Doug moved his hand over to hold his wife's hand to calm her down.

Connie looked back at Steven wondering what he wanted to do.

Steven sighs softly. "I got angry and broke a glass in my bare hand. At first I startled Connie but that was because I injured myself. She did suggest that we go to a therapist and we sat in the car when I had another moment of anger. I scared her and she cried because I wanted to start driving with this anger. We sat in the car for hours holding each other to calm down. Once at the therapist's office my anger was sourced by my relationship with my mother and other personal problems. I... I got out of hand and was able to break a wooden chair in my hands..." He lowered his head tearing up. "She cried... Something that I never wanted to happen ever again."

"Steven..." Connie looked at his face frowning slightly.

"I'm just so tired and pissed off!!" Steven yells out. His body instantly started to glow pink making the room shake a bit.

"Steven??" Connie gasps seeing this happen but then grunts feeling Steven's arms tighten up around her body. This became very confusing to her thinking that this glow only happened when he was angry with his mother. Finally being able to free herself from the hold she moved over to the other side of the couch where her mother was sitting.

"What is happening?" Mrs. Maheshwaran wrapped her arms around her daughter protectively.

Doug stood up being very cautious for his family seeing this glow. Not understanding much about Steven's power he wanted to see if he could do anything to stop this from escalating. "Steven?" He knelt down in front of the young male. "What's going on here buddy?"
