What's Real And What's Fake Anymore

Steven blinked his eyes slowly opened again. He blinked them a few more times noticing that he wasn't in his bedroom anymore. He moved his hand up but stopped feeling something stuck to it. He shakes his head a bit trying to get his blurry vision to go away. Slowly turning his hand to the right he could see someone messing with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. ".... Pearl?" He spoke softly.

Pearl gasps looking over. "Steven?!" She tears up and hugged onto him. "Oh, Steven thank the stars you're finally awake." She cried softly.

Steven slowly lifts his arms up and hugged her. "Pearl? Is that really you?"

"What? Of course, it's me. Steven, you hit your head really hard trying to get your body back." Pearl explained.

"Was I?? Pearl, I was in a different world. A-" Steven was trying to explain but hears a scream when the door opened.

"Steven!!" Connie runs over hugging onto himself tightly.

"C-Connie?" Steven looked over her seeing everyone else walk into the room with smiles all over their faces. "What happened?"

"You don't remember dude? That black Pearl? Pink taking over your body to try and do something bad?" Amethyst said as she sat in a chair.

"I... I remember but.." Steven frowns letting Connie go.

"But what?" Connie asked.

"I felt like I was living in hell..." Steven looked down at himself. He slowly lifted his hospital shirt and sighs in relief seeing his gem there. "... Was I knocked out?"

Everyone falls silent until Greg cleared his throat. "You were in a coma, Steven... For three months."

Steven's face went pale hearing this. He felt like passing out again.

"You okay?" Connie asked.

"No... I missed out on three months of my life." Steven groans softly.

"We can fill you in on what happened. You wouldn't believe half of the stuff that went down." Amethyst chuckled.

"That doesn't sound very pleasant." Steven frowns.

"Don't worry Steven I made sure that everything was under control. Nothing bad happened." Garnet held up her thumb.

"So what did you guys do when I passed out?" Steven asked.

"It was really scary. You fell backwards trying to get your body back from Pink and managed to hit your head really hard on the counter. We were able to stop the bleeding but the damage was done already." Connie explained.

"We brought you here as quickly as we could. They said that you were in a coma. That made everyone go into a panic, especially Pearl." Greg said folding his arms.

"I didn't do anything." Jasper spoke softly from her spot in the room.

"Oh, but you were working hard so that you could prove to Steven that you've changed." Pearl pointed out. "And not only that but you settled into your new home at New Homeworld."

Jasper rolled her eyes.

"What happened to the Black Pearl?" Steven asked.

"It's safely bubbled away into the temple." Garnet assured him.

"Nothing really exciting happened. We were all just moving forward with our normal lives cause that's what you would want us to do if you ended up... Well..." Pearl frowns.

"You're right. I would want all of you to live on no matter what happened to me." Steven frowns.

Lapis clenched her fists lightly before speaking up. "What was it like?"
