Steven Universe: The Good, The Bad, The Destiny

This Is Bad.

Steven pants lightly as he looked at his hand, staring at the gem in it. The gem slowly started to glow and float out into the air. It slowly shifted into different forms from Pink Diamond, to Rose Quartz, to Stevens several times before stepping onto the ground as the form of Steven. The Pink Steven blinked a few times before looking over their shoulder up at Steven.

"Pink. We did it!" Steven laughs lightly before swaying back and forth. He falls down the stairs.

"Steven!" Connie yelled out watching her friend fall two flights of stairs.

Pink Steven quickly dashed over and catches Steven. "Are y0u ok-kay-ay?" The voice came out like Stevens but slowly distorted back and forth between Pink's and his own.

Steven looked up at her. "Thanks, but we don't have any time." He looked over at Spinel. "Go."

Pink looked over at Spinel as she helped Steven stand. She slowly made her way over to the gem.

Steven motioned for the others to stand down.

"Guys." Garnet stepped back deforming her gauntlets.

Amethyst and Pearl do the same with their weapons.

Spinel shakes her head. "Pink?" She lowered her arms. "Is that really you?"

Pink nods her head standing a few feet from Spinel.

"Why do you look like that? Why do you look like him?" Spinel asked. "Where is my Pink?" She growls.

"I aM y0Ur-r PiNk." Pink's voice sounded all distorted again. She looked down at herself and lifted up the shirt seeing her cracked gem. "SEe, I aM hE-er. BuT he iS I." The gem glows brightly and slowly sealed up a bit. "We were broken... " The voice slowly shifted to Pink's and stayed that way.

"I don't like this game!" Spinel yelled out.

"This isn't a game!" Pink glared up making Spinel whimper.

Spinel takes a step back. "You've never yelled at me before. Why now?"

"Because what you are doing is wrong... And because of what I did... Was wrong." Pink stepped forward again. "This unnecessary violence... All because I abandoned you... For my own good."

"For your own good?" Spinel frowns getting confused.

Pink looked down at the ground with a frown. "When I was given the opportunity to be just like the other Diamonds, to have my own colony, to start having my own creations... I knew I had to grow up. And when you grow up you don't have time for distractions like silly games or... Or playmates." She looked back up at Spinel. "I didn't want to just have you destroyed. I didn't want to have the Diamonds come and take you away. I didn't want anything bad to happen to you... But that's what happened anyway. You were destroyed... I destroyed your heart, your trust, your love... Just so that I could change. And that's what needs to happen here. A change." She smiled softly. "You have the will to change everything right now."

"I do?" Spinel stepped forward a bit.

"Yes, all you have to do is hand over my Rejuvenator, and come quietly." She held out her hand to take the weapon.

"It's true Spinel, no one here wants to hurt you. We just want to help." Steven walked forward a bit. "We can all forget that this ever happened if you just give us the Rejuvenator."

Spinel clenched her fists. "Yeah... Just hand over the thing that can make me forget that this ever happened!" She takes a step back. "I don't think so!"

Pink held up her arm defensively in front of Steven.

"Wait no, that's not what we meant!" Steven tried to walk forward but was stopped by Pink.

"Sure! That's not what you meant at all. What are you going to do the moment I hand it over?! Cut me? Then lock me away like a freak!? Leave me alone again when I came back all stupid!" Spinel tightened her grip on the scythe as she lifted it into the air. She swings it down quickly.

Pink tried to throw up one of her shields but it broke instantly when making contact with the blade of the Rejuvenator.

Steven moved in front of Pink. "No!!!!" He yelled out. He groans feeling the blade cut across his back.

Pink gasps lightly holding onto Steven's body as he lands in her arms. "... Steven?"

Steven groans dropping to his knees as blood dripped down his back.

"Steven!!" Everyone yelled out rushing to his side.

Spinel stepped back seeing what she had done. "Oh no... What did I do?... I.. didn't want to hurt him... I.." she tears up.

Pink glared up at Spinel. "You could have killed him!"

"Steven!!" Connie rushed over with tears in her eyes. She started to pull Stevens torn jacket off his back to look at the wound. "It's too deep for us to tend to right now, he needs medical attention and fast!" She looked up at Pink. "You have to heal him, please!"

Pink looked down at Steven frowning. "I'll do my best..." She tears up lightly hugging him close. Her body glowed as she pressed her hands against the wound.

Steven yelled out in pain gripping onto Pink. "Ahh!! No!" He groans as the two of them slowly fused back together. He gasps lightly holding a hand to his chest.

"Hey, hey. It's okay." Connie tried to calm him down.

Steven shakes lightly looking over at Spinel. "You.. you hurt me.."

Spinel looked up and gasps when Bismuth charged at her.

Bismuth let out a war cry as she charged at the gem. She grunts being able to land several hard hits to disorientate Spinel and tugged at her gem making the body poof away. She sighs in relief. "It's over. Here, bubble her." She tossed the gem to Garnet.

Garnet nods bubbling up Spinel.

Steven groans out in pain. "It hurts, it hurts all over."

Connie looked at the wound again. "She managed to slow the bleeding down. He needs stitches."

"Let's get him back to your mother at the house." Pearl stood up helping Steven get to his feet.

Steven grunts leaning against Pearl. "I can't, I'm too weak." His eyes almost rolled into the back of his head as he dropped to his knees again.

Bismuth bent down and picked the Rejuvenator up. She puts it into her pocket before walking over to Steven. "Come on, let me help." She gently lifted him into her arms.

Steven laid his head against her shoulder. "Thank you..." He closed his eyes instantly passing out.

"Lets hurry back." Bismuth slowly made her way to the Warp Pad being followed by everyone else.
