Blue And Yellow Meet The Gems.

Blue Steven was sitting with Pearl at the shoreline. He had his knees pulled up to his chest while he stared out at the water. It glistened in the sunlight. He sighs softly. "Mother told me so much about this world. It's beautiful."

Pearl sat silently with him for a good moment or two before he started speaking softly. She looked over with a small smile. "You remind me of Blue back then."

"What do you mean?" Blue Steven looked over slowly.

"Are you aware of our history?" Pearl asked.

"Yeah, you were formerly known as Pink Diamonds Pearl and the original Steven was Pink too." Blue looked back at the water.

"Correct, I was her Pearl. When the two of us used to live on Homeworld I would hang around the other Pearls and sometimes Blue Diamond would be there. Before Pink changed into Rose Quartz, Blue Diamond was shy, quiet, never raised her voice or spoke out of turn." Pearl explained.

"Really? Was she scared too?" Blue Steven asked.

"I wouldn't know. She kept her emotional level at a certain point to know one could tell what she felt." Pearl sighs. "It wasn't until I saw her again when she came to Earth to free the Cluster that her emotional level could affect us all so drastically."

Blue Steven made a small giggle leaning against Pearl slowly. He flinched a bit when he did this. "I'm sorry."

"You're okay, here on Earth you are allowed to do whatever you want, with standards." Pearl gently wrapped her arm around him. "What do you like to do for fun?"

Blue Steven shrugged. "I never really did anything except for listening to White us."

"Do you have any other abilities besides summoning your beautiful bow and arrow?" Pearl asked another question.

"You... Think it's beautiful?" Blue Steven looked up at her again.

"Of course I do. I have one too, but only if I am fused with Amethyst and we make Opal." Pearl explained. "I can understand if using a weapon is uncomfortable. When I first discovered I could do this I didn't want to until I had no choice but too."

"Really?" Blue Steven sat up a bit being a little surprised by this. "But I thought you were the renegade Pearl."

"I was, but it took me a while to understand that I had to fight for my cause. When I saw Rose being attacked from behind I summoned my spear with pride and helped her defeat our enemy. I had my purpose in life and that was to help defend, protect, and fight." Pearl smiled softly down at Blue Steven. "I'm sure you'll find your purpose too."

Blue Steven smiled for the first time and hugged Pearl gently. "You're the best."

Pearl smiled more hugging him back. She looked behind her seeing someone walking over. "Hello, boys."

Blue Steven looked to see Ven and Steven walking over. "Brother."

"Sup, you getting along?" Ven asked.

"I... Feel better than I was before. I feel more confident." Blue Steven slowly stood up.

"That's great, cause I came over to ask you if you wanted to meet everyone else?" Steven asked hoping for a yes.

Blue Steven frowns looking at the sand for a moment. "Meeting others? Why?"

"Well, thanks to Jasper and her big mouth the others over at New Homeworld are interested in meeting you guys, except White." Steven explained. "There is someone there that you might like too, she's from Blue's Court."

Blue Steven sighs softly. "I guess I'll go. But I'm not talking unless I want too."

Ven nods. "That's understandable, let's go!" He raised his fist into the air excited. The four of them along with Amethyst get to the Warp Pad and head to New Homeworld.
