Later that day

Dejah
I walked in the house going straight to the kitchen to see Dave cooking and the kids at the counter doing their homework.

"Hey kiddos," I spoke as I kissed their heads.

"Hey mama."

"Hey babe."

"Hey beautiful."

I walked over to Dave and kissed him.

"How was work?"

"Work was good."

"That's good."

"How was your day?"

"Good the album is just about complete."

"Okay."

"Babies how was school?"

"For me good."

I waited on Kairi to speak but she remained quiet.

"Kairi how was your day?"

"It started off as good but ended up bad."

I sat my purse, phone and keys on the table.

"Why?"

"I got into another fight."

"With who?"

"Nicole she started back picking at me and Brittany again."

Dave turned away from the stove and gave me whole rundown on what happened.

"I'll be back."

"Where you going?"

"To go see Principal McCray about her daughter."

"Babe you're pregnant."

"My hands aren't."

"No Dej you're not fighting her."

I rolled my eyes.

"Fix your attitude before I fix it for you."

I smirked and looked at Dave.

"Get ya head out of the gutter."

I shrugged my shoulders.

"What are we going to do since I get put my hands on the lady?"

Wanted to say bitch but since Kaarim and Kairi is in the kitchen I'm refraining from cussing.

"I want to withdraw them from school and put them in public school because we're not paying all of this money in tuition for private school for them to be getting bullied."

"I agree so I'm going with you in the morning."

"Go where?"

"To the school."

"Oh no ma'am."

"Dave I'm not going to hit her."

"But I know my wife and when it comes to down to the kids mama bear mode kicks in and I don't need you to offend the lady then she say something back then you smack her."

"I'm not even going to offend her or say anything out the way I promise."

"Alright Dej."

I smiled as long as she don't say anything out of the way we're good but if she gets out of line about my babies then I'll get out a line too.

"So we going to a public school now?"

"Yeah Rim."

"Okay," Kaarim shrugged his shoulders.
