I was waiting on my daddy to come and get me when I felt a presence next to me I looked up seeing Aiden.

"I'll be over here," Trinity spoke.

I looked at her and she smiled at me before walking away.

"I want to say that I'm sorry for being mean to you."

"Why you want to apologize now?"

"I've realized that what I was doing wrong you're too pretty to be treated how I've been treating you."

"I accept your apology."

Aiden smiled I saw my dad's Range Rover.

"I gotta go Aiden see you later."

I waved at Trinity and she waved back I walked over to my dad's Range Rover and got in the backseat.

"Hey mama and daddy."

"Hey babygirl."

"Where's East?"

"I don't know he should be coming."

We saw East running out of the school and over to the Range Rover he got in and we put on our seatbelts.

"Hey ma and dad."

"Hey East," they both spoke.

My dad drove off.

"Was that Aiden you was talking to," my mama asked.

"Yes ma'am."

"What he say?"

"He apologized."

"You serious," she asked as she looked back at me.

"Yes ma'am."

"You talking about Noah's big brother," East asked.

"Yes."

"He like you or something?"

"I don't know and honestly East I don't care my focus is on school and getting good grades so I can go to college."

"You say that now babygirl but just wait until you turn 16 all of that is going to change."

"I doubt it daddy."

"What y'all want to eat?"

"It don't matter."

"Keep driving Dave I'm making tacos at the house."

"We got everything for the tacos?"

"Yep I want to the store this morning while you was gone to take the kids to school."

"Oh okay."

"Leena what are we doing for your 14th birthday in October?"

"Sleepover."

"Who all coming?"

"My best friends Alicia, Serayah, and Trinity."

"What about Kim?"

"I didn't see her at school today."

"I'll text your auntie Miyah and let her know."

"Okay."

About an hour later of being in New York traffic we finally made it to the house my daddy pulled into the garage. We all got out and my mama unlocked the door and we walked in the house.
