Kairi I checked the time and sighed Justin was supposed to be here two hours ago for our date night and he's not even here. I heard the front door open and close followed by footsteps I shook my head and grabbed my phone and purse I stood up from the couch.
"Hey babe."
"I've been waiting on you for two hours two freaking hours for our date night that you planned and you're just now getting back."
"I-," I cut Justin off.
"Don't even try to explain yourself Justin just forget it."
I walked out of the living room and going down the hall going to my room I walked in and took my heels off and walked into the closet and put my shoes back on the rack along with my purse.
I grabbed my robe and put it on and walked out of the closet I sat down at my vanity and got started on removing my makeup.
To say that I'm upset is an understatement I've been preparing myself for tonight since he told me this morning that we were going out only for him to not even come back to the house to get ready and take me out like he promised.
Once my makeup was removed I stood up from my vanity I threw my makeup wipes away and made my way into the bathroom. I took my robe off then I stripped out of my clothes and turned on the shower I tied my hair up in a bun and stepped into the shower.
After I showered and did my nightly routine I walked out of the bathroom seeing Justin I rolled my eyes and walked over to the bed.
"Before you lay down come here."
I walked over to Justin with my arms crossed.
"What?"
"First let me apologize for missing our date night time got away from me and I didn't realize the time until I was on my way here it wasn't my intention to forget our date night."
"Okay."
"Come with me."
"For what?"
"Just come with me please."
I sighed and let Justin walk me out of the room and down the hall we walked into the living room and I saw my parents, siblings, my grandparents as well as Justin siblings, parents and grandparents.
"What is everyone doing here?"
"I'll tell you later go greet everyone."
I walked around greeting my family as well as Justin family me and Brittany hugged a little longer.
"Everything was going as planned today until my parents flight got delayed and we ended up being stuck in traffic which is why I was late."
I turned towards Justin and walked towards him.
"As you were removing your makeup and preparing to take your shower I called up everyone and told them to come here to the condo."
Justin lead me over to the heart shaped rose petals.
"For what?"
"For this."
Justin dropped to one knee he went in his pocket and pulled a small box out and I heard Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran playing lowly in the background.
"At the tender age of 16 I had a crush on the most beautiful girl ever and after getting the approval of her father to date her I finally took her on our first date which was amazing. Each date after that always topped the other then I felt myself slowly falling in love with this girl and I was scared out of my mind but after talking to my parents I realized that I don't need to be scared to fall in love with her so after a few weeks I finally told her how I felt about her and she felt the same way. Fast forward to now I'm still deeply in love with her and I don't see myself with any other woman but her I want her to be my forever. With that being said Kairi Chanel Brewster will you marry me."

"Yes," I said through tears.
"I'm sorry I didn't catch that."
"Yes I'll marry you Justin."
"That's what I thought you said."
I smiled and shook my head as he got the ring out of the box and slid it on my finger. Justin stood up and pulled me into him we kissed and we hugged.
Dejah I can't believe that my baby is getting married once Justin and Kairi pulled away we walked over to them and congratulated them.
"Congrats Kai."
"Thank you mama," she sniffed I smiled and wiped her face.
"You're welcome."
Kairi looked at her daddy who didn't say anything and his facial expression was blank.
"Daddy."
"Congrats babygirl."
"Thank you daddy."
"You're welcome."
They hugged.
"It seems just like yesterday I was chasing you around the house with Mugga right behind me now you're about to be a whole wife."
"That I am."
"You like your ring babe?"
"Like isn't the word baby I love it."
"I wanted your engagement ring to be different and unique so with the help of my pops and Dave we came up with this."
Kairi nodded Dave walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"We raised Kai right."
"Yes we did."
"Our babygirl is all grown up now it's only a matter of time before we become grandparents."
"I don't think we have to worry about being grandparents any time soon babe Kai is focused on getting her career started."
"How you know this?"
"We've talked."
"And you just now telling me?"
"I don't tell you everything that me and Kai talk about because it's supposed to stay between us."
"But-," I cut Dave off.
"But morning Dave."
"We're going to head out mama you got Leena and East," Dave asked.
"Yeah."
"Alright goodnight everyone."
"Eww daddy," Kairi spoke.
"Y'all know how y'all got here."
I said goodnight to my babies then I followed Dave outside to the rental we got Dave opened the passenger door before I got in Dave smacked my eyes making me narrow my eyes at him. I got in and put my seatbelt on Dave made his way to the driver side. I sent Kairi a text telling her that I'm treating her, Kaleena and Brittany to brunch I would say breakfast but I know that Dave isn't going to let me leave.
