I was in my office when there was a knock at my door I looked up seeing Kaleena standing at the door.

"Hey babygirl."

"Hey mama."

Kaleena walked further in and closed the door.

"What you doing?"

"Working."

"Oh okay."

I paused from working and looked at Kaleena.

"What can I do for you?"

"My birthday is coming up."

"Yes I know you'll be 14."

"And I was wondering can I have a slumber party this year."

"Did you ask your daddy?"

"I did and he said yes but he said that I had to ask you."

"Well if daddy says yes then it's a yes."

"Wait are you serious?"

"Yes ma'am."

Kaleena let out a squeal she ran over to me and hugged me.

"Thank you thank you thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Don't worry it's not going to be a big slumber party cause I don't like them girls like that."

"Okay babygirl."

"What you about to do?"

"Get started on dinner."

"Can I help?"

"Yes ma'am you can."

I stood up from my desk and we walked out of my office heading towards the kitchen. We walked in seeing East and Dave.

"What are y'all about to do?"

"Cook dinner."

"What you about to cook?"

"Bakes Spaghetti with Garlic Bread."

"Okay Leena are you helping mama," East asked.

"Yeah."

"Alright we'll leave you two at it call us when dinner is ready."

"Okay."

Dave and East walked out of the kitchen I walked over to the cabinets and took out the pots and pan I'll be using.

I went in the pantry and got out the spaghetti sticks and the tomato sauce.

"Mama how can you tell if a boy likes you?"

"Well it depends either he'll show you that he likes you or he'll be mean to you."

"Okay."

"Do a boy like you?"

I let out a sigh.

"I'm not sure one minute he's nice to me and the next he's mean to me."

"So he's sending you mixed signals."

"Yes ma'am."

"Who is this boy?"

"Aiden Marshall."

"Do daddy and East know about this?"

"No because you know how they can get."

"Oh yes I know."

"Sometimes he can be really mean."

"He haven't put his hands on you have he?"

"No it's just his words."
