I stood at the balcony, staring into the dark night sky, littered with white dots of stars.
"hey twerp. What'cha looking at?" a voice behind me asked. A voice I grew familiar around with. "the stars. They're pretty."
"Bam rented out a whole field for the gang to watch the fire work show." he huffed. "that boy. Wasting fugs money like that..."
I giggled at his remarks, checking my watch at the same time. "oh look, it's almost time! Hurry hurry!" I grabbed Khun by the wrist, dragging him behind me.
"do you even know where the field is? " he asked behind me. I scratched my neck awkwardly, "no..?"
Khun let's out a sigh. "come on." he pulled me closer to him, and he put his arms around my shoulders.
After some time, we made it to a large grassy field, a (f/c) in checkered blanket already spread out on the grass with food on top of it.
Everyone was already there and was chatting with each other. I saw Wangnan shoving pork down his throat. "oh look, the lovebird's here." Akraptor smirked. "stop it you~" Khun said back.
"ugh, do I have to spend new years with her?" Yeon pointed a finger at me. "stop being a bitch and suck it up." I argued back. We glared at each other.
"shush! It's starting!" Khun clasped my mouth shut with his hand.
Fire works upon fire works showed up, displaying beautiful and colorful light. "its time for the count down!" Miseng squealed, grabbing onto her sisters back.
"10!" we shouted together
"9!" Im glad that I'm around the world best people in the world
"8!" I honestly can't imagine a life without them
"7!" I felt Khuns hand leaving my shoulder
"6!" it disappointed me a bit but I didn't want to show it
"5!" as I felt the burden in my heart, I felt a hand slither itself in place on my waist.
"4!" in shock, I looked beside me. Khun was grinning, looking up at the sky.
"3!" I felt blood rush up to my cheeks as I take in his feature.
"2!" his light blue hair swayed in the wind, making his face more handsome. God's...
"1!" I felt my body being pulled by the waist. And in a second, I felt my lips already locked onto Khuns.
My eyes went wide and I felt his other hand holding the back of my neck, deepening the kiss.
"omg omg omg-" I heard Wangnan choke
"holy shit get a room-" akraptor added
"um... Should I even be looking. I don't think I should be looking..." Bam whispered to Rak.
"miseng close your eyes! How irresponsible!" Goseng said.
"cant believe she got a boyfriend before me! Can't believe-"
"shut up. Let them have this moment."
"HAH I WIN THIS BET Y U R I!"
"God damn it! Take my money! Hmph"

He released his hold and I looked at him dumbfounded.
Though I admit his blushing face is very cute.
"I- what- you- me- huh?"
"love you too~" he buried his face on my neck.
