Ep. 33

hey guys, I've been using past tense and I'm going to change it into present tense from now on. I write in 1st person P.O.V so it's kind of weird for me to write it in past tense considering i wrote 32 chapters.

I'm also going to change the transition or time skip from '~' to '~~~***~~~' so ya'll can see it better.

also, I'm sorry but I'm completely obsessed with Khun's face whatever expression he has. honestly, his face looks so clean I just ugh.

after retrieving the crocodile, we walk back to Bam's room. I keep stealing glances at Khun to make sure he's totally fine and okay. I'm sure he is, but it's better to be sure sure.

I open the door to Bam's room and Rak shouts angrily, seeing Bam whose eyes are still closed, "what happened!? the red turtle got taken and the black turtle is unconscious!"

Khun dolefully stares at Bam, "I'm sorry, I guess I was... not strong enough to stop them..."

I reassuringly place a hand on his back, stroking it up and down. but Rak grabs Khun's collar and shouts at him, "saying sorry isn't good enough!" Khun seems not surprised by Rak's action. "things just got all worse because of you!"

beta, who is leaning against the wall next to the door, explains what's wrong with him.

"yo, long time so see A.A!" an unfamiliar voice greets.
"it's been awhile since I talked to you."
"how's it going? Did you make it to the train?"

"Fug stole the train and Choo Chooed their way out." I jump into the conversation. "what?" he giggles, "so you guys didn't make it on the train? Also, who is that? Khun? Your girlfriend?"

"yeah. We have to catch the train somehow. Along with that, the enemies are quite strong." Khun ignores his last question and wrapped an arm around my waist. "I want you to stop the train. My teammates are on that train."

The person on the other side goes silent and hums, "I see."
"okay, I'll help you out. But you have to pay for this. Keep that in mind."

I give Khun a suspicious glance with a raised brow. "let's meet again on the train."

He disconnects with Khun and then there is silence. "so," I coughed, "that happened. What now?"

"let's go grab some food. We'll call it a date."

Date?? As in, first date as a couple?? Not like it changes the meaning of a date, but still.

"uh, yeah. Sure."

He takes my hand in his and leads me to the restaurant. His hands are so soft what the hell?

We sit down in front of the chef. The food sizzles as he cooks.

After some time, we get served food. Sushi and other seafood. This region has a lot of seafood. It's Khun's first time trying it and he seems to enjoy it. Of course, ignoring the fact that he still have a blank expression on his face. "it's not bad." he finally says after chewing on it for so long. "of course it isn't. It's amazing!" I happily say and take another bite on my (sea food).

"you know," he rests his head on the palm of his hands and looked at me with those sharp eyes if his, "you haven't worn that dress Bam bought you."

Huh. Why does he care? "it's... A bit short. Other than that, w-why would I wear a dress when there is a chance of battle?"

He mouth forms a grin, "you look cute in it." my throat released a small squeak. "h-hahah... You're... You're funny! I look dashingly hot in it! Not cute." I find the floor interesting suddenly. "we'll, you're always 'dashingly hot'. The dress gives you a bonus of being cute as well."
