Rak suddenly lunged forward. "NO! YOU CAN NEVER! YOU ARE MY PREY! YOU CAN'T LEAVE!"
"I'll be Rachel's legs!!"
"you can't give up your legs- what?" Rak looked at him, wide-eyed. "I'll be Rachel's legs. And help her go up the tower." he clenched his fist tight. "I... don't really care what is up the tower. I don't look forward to seeing the stars. But if there's something that Rachel wants, what I want is to make it happen."
"I don't mind if it's hards or dangerous. I'll keep climbing."
we stared at him in silence.
"Um... i know this is too much to ask..." I think I can understand him a little bit.
"But I'm not as strong or smart as you are..." I know what it feels like.
"so... I want to ask you... if you will join me." the path he has chosen...
"I don't know how you'll take this..." the path I wanted to have...
"But you two are my cherished friends..." to go up with her...

"Mom! what the hell!?" I looked around her room frantically. "sweety! what are you doing here!?" I rushed over to her, screaming at her face. "where are you going!? what's going on?!"
she grabbed my shoulders, "I'm leaving." I gave her a trembling smile, "wh-when are you coming b-back?" mom looked at me with a dead look. "you know the answer to that question." i felt the warmth of her palms leave my shoulders. I felt paralyzed.
"Why..." my voice small and trembling. "WHY!?"
"to get a better life than this."

I wanted to scream at her, to grab her hands and follow her up. to come with her. But I felt the warning gaze she left me with. "remember my words, this is my last message to you. keep them close in your grasp. control them."

"OK TURTLE! IF YOU'RE ASKING, I'M IN!" Rak got pushed down by Khun who stood up. "difficult? that's my specialty! I will escort you to the top of the tower in the evilest and sneaky way possible. be prepared. once we start, no matter how rough, you won't be able to get out!"
I smiled. these are the people who I'm going to keep in the palm of my hands. the people precious to me.

"Hell yeah! I'll kill everyone in our way! I'll drown 'em good!" I showed Bam a small figure that's choking to death in my palm, made out of water. "Mr. Khun... (y/n)..."
"thank you! I mean it!" he bowed down low, "don't thank him. seriously. don't."
"Alright then, cheating or bluffing? which one do you want to learn first?" Khun asked, "do I have to choose between those two?" Bam timidly asked, "well, you can choose between learning how to slice someone's head off or crush all their bones with shinsu option. Buuut, I can't do that yet, so it's how to crush someone's arm with shinsu?" Bam looked even more terrified at my options.
"Hey! you turtle's ignoring me!?" Rak jumped up to his feet. "Mr. Khun, what is this talking doll here?"
"Well, I don't recall buying such a thing," Khun answered. "I traded my peaceful quiet quality time for it..." I sighed, raising my hand. "YOU BASTARDS! KNOW YOUR ROLES!!"
