Sasuke vs Itachi Part 1

A/N: I know I'm kinda rushing the timeline a little, but I haven't watched the middle part of Naruto Shippuden, I only know of the massive fight at the end in addition to bits and pieces in between. Don't hate me plz.

Sasuke's P.O.V

Here he is. The one that killed our entire clan, the one I have vowed to kill... is sitting in a throne right in front of me.

He chuckled, "What do those eyes of yours see, Sasuke?" He asked me, I looked directly at him.

"The only thing I see with these eyes... is your death." I growled.

"Heh, I told you to awaken your Mangekyo, didn't I? It seems you don't have enough hate in your heart to kill the one closest to you..." He opened his eyes.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked.

I activated my Mangekyo Sharingan.

I should explain how I got it.

*Flashback*

So, basically, before I consumed Orochimaru's chakra, Haru and I fought him together, Orochimaru supposedly 'killed' Haru, he was pierced through the heart.

I was so mad that my Mangekyo manifested in both of my eyes and I took down Orochimaru thanks to my new abilities.

Haru then started clapping from the darkness, I was really surprised, since I thought he was dead, I looked back at his 'corpse' and found nothing but an empty husk with salmon and other types of fish wriggling out of it.

"What happened, Sasuke? You look like you've seen a ghost." He said.

I couldn't believe him. This is the second time he's done this.

"Haru, you motherfucker. That's the second time you've lulled me into a false sense of insecurity." I growled.

"It had to be done, you wouldn't have awoken the Mangekyo otherwise." He shrugged.

"Do you know... how insecure I am about you dying? Do you have any idea? You're the only family I have left that still cares for me. I can't lose you." I started tearing up again.

"Jeez, Sasuke, I didn't know you were much of a crybaby, you want me to tell that to Sakura or...?" He trailed off as I slammed the hilt of my katana into his forehead.

"Never do that again! And don't even think about telling anyone!" I yelled.

*Flashback end*

And after that, we ended up here.

Haru remained silent beside me, and I was closely watching Itachi's face morph into a mask of shock.

"Itachi. Is there somebody named Obito in the Akatsuki?" I asked.

"Heh, defeat me first, then I'll give you answers." He said, after regaining his composure.

He appeared directly behind me.

Before I could react, Haru had already stabbed him.

"Don't bother with this one, that's a genjutsu." He said.

I looked back at the throne, and realized that Haru was right. I cast a genjutsu on Itachi and engaged him in a conversation.

Haru warped me behind the throne and I stabbed Itachi in the back, purposefully missing his vital points.

"Answer my question." I said.

"There is a mysterious man who claims to be Madara Uchiha." He coughed.

"What does he look like?" Haru went around the throne and stared him down.

"Orange mask, only one hole for his eye though. He wears Akatsuki robes, and he has very spiky hair, kinda like your friend, Naruto." He said.
