One year later

Matt got up early in the morning. He opened the fridge, took two eggs and milk to make some omelet. He sighed. Araw araw hindi parin nya makalimutan ang pinaka kinatatakutan nyang pangyayari sa buhay nya. He still blames himself for everything bad that had went through a year ago. He always wishes na sana hindi na lang nya dinala si Scarlet sa buhay nila ni Leila. He wishes everyday na sana hindi sya naging selfish idiot at maayos na niligawan si Leila.

"Matt iho? Ang aga mo na namang magising?" bati ni Manang Lory.

"Good morning Manang," Matt smiled.

"Parati mo na lamang akong inuunahan iho inaagawan mo na ako ng trabaho nyan," biro ni Manang.

Matt smiled and continued what he was doing.

"Ok ka lang ba iho?" Manang asked.

"I'm good Manang, don't worry about me," he smiled  like an innocent boy again.

"Anak, bata ka pa lamang ay inaalagaan na kita at kilalang kilala na kita. Kahit matapang ang itsura mo, napakaganda naman ng loob mo. Hindi mo naman kailangan makonsensya sa nangyari hindi mo ito kasalanan kaya relax lang nak," she said at agad umalis para maggrocery.

"Babe..."

A warm arms are wrapped around Matt's Herculean body.

"You're up early again..i hate it when i wake up and you weren't there," Leila said.

"Gusto ko lang bumawi--"

"Babe...ilang beses ko bang sasabihin? It's not your fault, i'm totally fine it has been over a year na. I don't want you to beat yourself up thinking that incident was all on you, ok?" Leila calmly said.

Matt sighed. Dinrop nya ang spatula nyang hawak hawak at hinarap si Leila.

"I love you so much Leila," he said and gave her a kiss in her forehead.

"You don't even know how much I love you, Matt" Leila said back.

He bend down on his knees at hinalikan ang tyan ni Leila.

"And I love you little one, Daddy and Mommy are excited to see you," he whispered while smiling.

Leila chuckled. Araw araw na ganito si Matt sa kanya. Napaka alaga at maaalalahanin. He puts his family first over everything that is why pakiramdam ni Leila ay sya ang pinaka maswerteng babae sa buong mundo.

After the incident, luckily, hindi malala ang lagay ni Leila. She was able to survive kahit medyo madaming nawalang dugo sa kanya. Alvin and Scarlet are now rotting in jail for kidnapping and attempted murder. They will both spend 15 years in jail and Matt had made sure of that.

On the bright side, ng maayos na ang lahat, Matt and Leila had wasted no time at agad nag pakasal. Intimate wedding with close family and friends. Wala ng Pio this time. Beautiful, intimate, cozy yet elegant garden wedding.

Matt had rented out the entire The Brando Resort in Polynesia to spend their luxurious honeymoon. What do you expect from a billionaire diba? Leila was overwhelmed since it was a surpise for her. Matt had organized this honeymoon beautifully. Red roses sa lahat ng sulok ng suite nila. Romantic dinner under the sunset and fun adventures. Imagine, ikaw lang at ang pinakamayaman at gwapong lalake sa buong mundo sa iisang isla? That being said, doon nabuo ang future heiress of the MS Corp.

At the end of the day, both Leila and Matt are very thankful na they've found each other, regardless of the circumstances. It might not be the best first meet up story, but they really do genuinely believe na they were a couple from their past life and that electrifying feeling whenever they're together has always stayed to this day.
