LEILA'S POV

I slowly opened the door and inspected the hallway. Walang tao pero I can hear Scarlet and Alvin talking. Dahan dahan akong lumabas at bumaba ng hagdan. It's a pretty normal size house kaya nakita ko agad ang kitchen sa kanan. I can hear their voices from the left side of the stairs. My heart was beating so loud that I felt like they can hear it. Buti nalang may wall in between ng living room at stairs so they couldn't see me. Sa tapat naman ng hagdan is almost 10 feet from the main door, pero tiyak na mahuhuli nila ako kahit takbuhin ko ito.

Dahan dahan akong pumunta sa kitchen assuming na meron back door exit. Oh my God please sana naman meron.

MATT'S POV

*bang! bang!*

"Leila!"

Kakarating ko lang dito sa address that we've traced according to the papers my men had found.
Pababa pa lang kami ng kotse when we heard 2 gun shots. I hope what I'm thinking is wrong!

I ran towards the front door as fast as I can! I slammed the door open and call out for Leila!
Wala akong dalang protection but right now all I can think about is Leila. I don't care anymore!

"Tangina kailan mo ba kami lulubayan!" Alvin shouted.

He sthrew a punch at me na agad kong iniwasan. I punched him in his left rib and straight to his face.

"This might be your worst day man," I said.

He smile in an irritatingly smug but he was obviously hurt. Fucking asshat.

"Come on, do you really think na papakasalan ka ni Leila?! She still loves me bro! Kaya umalis ka na!! Let us be happy!!" He falsified while wiping the blood on his lips.

Looks like this guy is mentally unstable. What a fucking delusional. I forcefully pushed him out of my way and try to find Leila. I rushed upstairs pero there's no sign of her but I can feel she's here! I went downstairs and I went to the kitchen. Pagbaba ko ay wala na si Alvin.

I was horrified with what I saw next! I felt like Horses were racing and stomping inside my heart! Ngayon ko lang naranasang manginig ang buong katawan ko sa sobrang takot. Takot na mawala ang kaisa isang minahal ko sa buong buhay ko. I couldn't even breath right!

I saw Leila laying down by the kitchen exit door unconscious with blood all over her shirt. Nagmadali akong lumapit sa kanya to stop her from bleeding. I ripped my shirt and put it on top of her wound. She was shot from her left shoulder but she was still breathing, thankfully!

"Thank God!" I nervously whispered.

I never thanked God or believed in Him pero ito na yata ang pinaka unang pasasalamat ang ginawa ko sa kanya.

"Baby.. baby.... wake up!! fuck! " I'm trying to wake her up. Holding her weight into my arms.

"Fuck!!!!" I shouted while trying to wake her up.

My men came up to me with Scarlet holding her tightly while she's trying to resist.

"Sir nahuli ho naming tumatakbo dala dala ang baril kaya agad naming hinabol!" One of them said.

I was outraged when I saw her! I'm gonna fucking kill her! Pero she's not my priority right now. I have to save my fianće!

"Call ambulance!! Go!!!!!" I screamed on one of my men.

I bursted out in tears! I was holding Leila tightly in my arms and trying to cover her wound while Looking at her beautiful face.

"I love you so much Leila...please hold on," I sobbed and kissed her forehead.

I can't imagine my life without the love of my life! If anything gets worst, magbabayad lahat ng taong gumawa sa kanya nito! I'm gonna make all their life like a living hell!!!
