After Zsasz left you took a quick shower, afterwards slipping into a tight pair of jeans and a simple hoodie with Gotham High plastered on the front along with your old schools crest.
After putting your gloves back on you made your way down to the GCPD. Determined to at least get some sort of idea of what was currently coursing through your veins.
Walking through the front door you spotted Ed first.
"Hey Ed. What are you doing here?"
"Just checking in in Foxy. What are you doing here?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Well my blood isn't exactly consisting of regular old red and white blood cells. Thought I'd have Lee take a look." You chuckled but he gave you a confused look. "Wanna come with?"
He took a second to answer. "Umm. Sure." He spoke slowly, following you to the lab.
"Y/n?" Lee looked up from her work. "Why's Nygma with you?"
You walked closer to her, Ed staying in the doorway. "Well I want you to run a test on my blood. Figure out what it's made out of. He's just curious too."
She gave you a confused look. Similar to the one Ed gave you.
"Lee just trust me. I need you to run some tests on my blood."
She shook her head a bit before standing and moving to a different station. "Alright. Sit here, and take off your sweatshirt."
You did as she asked, but you weren't wearing a shirt underneath, so you sat in just a sports bra and gloves.
Ed looked away out of embarrassment, causing you to chuckle lightly under your breath.
Lee cleaned your inner elbow and put the needle in.
"Oh my God." She whispered as the black substance began to fill the tube the needle was connected to.
Ed rushed over, suddenly unfazed by your lack-of-shirt.
The both of them watched as Lee filled three separate tubes. Ed held one up to the light. "Fascinating." He whispered to himself.
"Y/n, I'd like you to stay here until I get the results back. I'm going to run every test we have here. It shouldn't take more than a few hours." Lee finished as she took all the beakers into a different room.
You pulled your sweatshirt back on, and went to your bag to pull out the book you had started that morning.

Lee came back holding a few papers, and a stern look.
"Y/n how are you feeling?" She asked.
"Normal? I mean as normal as I have since Indian Hill. My nerves are kinda fucked up. But I trained myself not to feel pain. But other than that I feel the same as before Indian Hill."
She nodded slightly. "Okay." She took a deep breath. "Your DNA is odd, you tested negative for most things, but positive for a few strange ones."
"Strange ones?" You cocked your head, placing you book back into your bag.
"You don't have any red blood cells, but your white blood cell count is through the roof." She paused a moment. "I don't even know how you're alive right now. Let alone how you're normal." Her sudden silence scared you. "You also tested positive for the Tetch virus. I'm assuming the high levels of some other chemical in the soup that is your blood is blocking it out."
"What sort of chemicals?" Ed asked examining the papers.
"All sorts of things that should have her dead on the spot. Formaldehyde, Ricin, Batrachotoxin, even Cyanide. The list goes on. I have no possible idea why you could ever be alive." She turned to you once more. "You should be dead by now. If someone got even a single drop of your blood in their system they would get a dose ten times the amount needed to kill them."
"Uh, thanks Lee." You started to leave. "One more question." You turned back. "Any of those chemicals good at healing wounds quickly?"
She took the sheet back from Ed and glanced over it. "Well the Zinc levels could have something to do with that. Why?"
"Just curious."
You started back on the way to your car.
"Y/n! Wait!" You heard Ed call from behind you in the parking lot. You stopped and waited for him to catch up. "I'd like you to meet my girlfriend Isabella." He said through a wide smile.
"I'd love to. Bring her by my place tonight, I'll make dinner." You smiled lightly back at him as he nodded and made his way back to his own car.

Isabella seemed like a great girl. Sweet and smart. She really did remind you a lot of Ed.
After dinner the two of you got to talking since Ed insisted on doing the dishes. She had noticed your copy of The Science of Renewable Energy and got to talking about about the books the both of you had read. Even though she was more of a fiction reader, and you preferred to be learning something it was still a wonderful conversation.
"Well, we should be heading off." Ed started as the two guests grabbed their coats.
"Thank you for dinner. It was very nice meeting you." Isabella thanked you as she gave you a parting hug.
"Well it was great meeting you too!" You smiled brightly, it was nice to see that Ed had moved on to someone who truly cared about him. "We'll have to go get coffee sometime."
"I would like that very much."
And with that they both left, leaving you once again to your thoughts. And then an idea clicked.
Lee said your blood was toxic, if someone got it in their own system somehow it would be fatal. And with the way Gotham is going down hill you may just need it.
You dig through old boxes in your closet of stuff you never really unpacked until you finally found it. A collection of knives designed specifically for throwing, it was an expensive set, beautifully made, each one perfectly hand crafted. And each one had been sharpened to its maximum capacity to decrease surface tension so they flew further and faster with less effort.
Ivy had given them to you after she stole them thinking it would be something else in the box they came in.
You took each one out carefully, there were about fifty in total, so you laid them all out neatly on top of your well made bed.
Going back to the boxes you found exactly what you were looking for, a series of leather and latex jackets and shirts all ripe for the cutting.
You spent the rest of the night cutting them apart and sticking them back together neatly until what you had resembled something that would make any tailor jealous. (Pic above)
To Finnish everything off you found a pair of black leather boots that were perfect for running.
Next you found your old satchel that clung to the outside of your thigh, and fashioned a hood to the back of your new suit.
Finally ready you went to work on the knives.
Taking one you split open your palm, letting a good amount of the black fluid drip into a bowl on your nightstand, that was until it completely healed itself in less than a minute.
After taking a moment to look at the fresh scar on your hand you slipped your gloves back on and dipped each knife into the liquid, then setting it to the side to dry itself.
After everything was done your satchel was filled with toxic knives perfect for throwing, and you were ready for Zsasz to come back in through the window any minute now.
You weren't even tired, just ready to get to work.
