After witnessing yesterday's incident, I couldn't sleep at all. The same dialogues and actions were swirling in my mind like a tornado. The situation I was currently in demanded me to think about only myself, but my mind was busy building towers of doubts of all shapes.
What could have happened for Shruti Aunty to beat up Yuvaan like that and then hug him while crying?
Reyna, they could be acting too. You already know how Yuvaan is like and do you think his mom would be nice when her son is like that? She must be treating you nice before butchering you.
I thought that my brain would explode if I kept worrying about who is real and who is fake. So, after getting a quick shower and having a small breakfast, I waited for Yuvaan's mom to arrive in the hall.
But instead of coming from her room, she came from the front doors, dressed in a nice, royal blue chiffon saree. I noticed that she was lost in her own thoughts and a sad expression adorned her radiant face.

"Shruti Aunty," I called her.
She turned her head towards me and for a minute, just stared at me blankly. I let her be and she smiled at me.
"You had your breakfast, beta?" she asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"Come on, let's go to my study room. We will have the discussion there."
"Where is Yuvaan?"
"Oh, don't worry about him. He won't disturb us."
"But..."
"It is okay, Reyna. I know he was hiding the divorce issue from me. That's why I sent him to his therapist today," she informed.
Therapist?
I nodded and we went to her study room. The place was similar to that of Yuvaan's, but it was covered in a hue of lavender all over. Apart from the usual bookshelf and study table setting, there was a small tea table in the right corner.
