Yuvaan's POV
I loved the surprise Reyna gave me. I knew Mom was behind the idea, but to know that my wife thought about it and invited Navya Didi and Mysha over made me overwhelmed. I thanked her for taking care of my relatives, but whenever I remembered what Rohan and Vihaan bhaiyya tried to do, I felt my blood boiling.
Those two were a few years older than me, but as Mysha said, their brains were still small. I was used to their taunts and how much they hated me, but there was no way I was going to excuse them for misbehaving with my wife. While beating them, I took out my past frustrations too.
Both of them bullied me when I used to stay with their family after Mom had left me at her elder sister's house. She had to go overseas as her business expanded, and she wasn't sure whether she would be able to return or not, and Grace Nana was also not well at that time. Thus, Mom had no other option than to depend on her sister.
I was already causing troubles at school and didn't want to attend the classes at all, but Mom forcefully admitted me into high school, and I had to study, or else Mom wouldn't have talked to me at all. I was afraid of facing the similar douche bags at my new school, but the ones in the house were far ahead of anyone else.
While Rohan bhaiyya used to tease me about my obsession with games and discourage me by saying that I would never become a game developer, Vihaan bhaiyya used to beat me up for fun. He didn't call me names or something but enjoyed using me as his personal punch bag.
I wanted to run away, but Navya Didi always managed to cheer me up and scolded her brothers for mistreating me. Unfortunately, her mother always took her brothers' side and called me a freeloader. Navya Di was a divorcee and had a three year old daughter, with whom I used to play a lot because she was the only one who was younger than me and didn't bully me.
If I said that I only endured the torture because of Navya Di and Mysha, I wouldn't be lying. I didn't want to burden Mom when she already had her hands full, and I didn't want to become homeless. A lot of times, I thought of rebelling and thrashing the guys, but I remembered that they were the ones who were taking care of me in my mother's absence.
My stay at their house wasn't that long, but I was thankful for whatever they had done for me.
Except those two bastards Rohan and Vihaan. I will beat them up once more if they come back here again.
After staying at my home for four days, Navya Didi and Mysha left as Mysha had to prepare for her pre-board exams. I told Reyna to stay at home as she didn't hold back from doing everything possible to make my cousin and niece feel at home. Thus today, I came to office alone, but after seeing my lunchbox, I felt happy to know that I got Reyna as my wife.
Earlier, I judged her too quickly without knowing everything, but now I wanted to keep her happy and safe. If I hadn't married her, then I didn't know who would have been my wife now.
