Yuvaan's POV

Italy. One of my favourite vacation spots. Though, I wasn't here to enjoy this time. I had to seal a deal with one of my most important clients, who had promised to invest in my new business. But it wasn't easy to convince him.

He was a tough guy to crack, and he always judged the other person on the basis of his family background-something I was really uncomfortable with. Still, I had to brush off his rude behaviour to get the work done.

"We have arrived, Sir," my driver informed me, and I nodded in acknowledgement.

I got out of the car and stood in front of the entrance of the hotel I was going to stay in. It was my usual place to crash, though I had a penthouse in this country. I used my house only for holidays, since I could just sleep the whole day and have late night parties with my friends.

I preferred to keep my personal life separate from the work. And I applied the same idea to the other aspects of my life too. It was easier that way and helped me to keep track of what was going on around me.

But there was a new addition to my personal life, and no matter how much I wanted to deny it, it existed. I was not happy, but I had no other choice. Though I had full power to decide what to do with it, and that thought gave birth to a lot of other sinistrous ones.

I sighed and gave my luggage to one of the helpers to keep it in my room. I quickly typed a message to mom that I arrived safely. Yes, this big guy who was 27 years old still had to report to his mom. Or else I could kiss my life goodbye.

I also sent a message to Shaurya who didn't wait to send me a reply. I laughed at his message as I went in the dining area to have lunch. Apart from the Indian food, I loved Italian cuisine. That's why I never worried about what I would eat whenever I came here.

I sat down on a vacant table, and a familiar face came to take my order. Since I was their regular customer, almost everyone knew me.

After placing my usual order, I checked my phone for new mails. Work never stops.

Even during lunch, I kept receiving calls from my secretary and business associates. Sometimes, I wished phones were never invented. Atleast, people could eat in peace then. But it had become an inseparable part of our daily lives, and I was sure if phones vanished from the earth, humans would be next in line.

After lunch, I retired to my room and undressed myself. I took a breath of relief after getting out of that fucking suit. I really hated formal clothes.

If I could, I would have attended every meeting in just my three-fourths and a t-shirt-you can remove the t-shirt from the list. It seemed like an unnecessary piece of clothing too.

The suite was nice and just according to my taste: All black, except for the lights illuminating the whole interior. I went inside the washroom and switched on a button to heat up the shower. Meanwhile, I played with the faucet and splashed water all over the black tiles.
