Our honeymoon destination was Tahiti, one of the most famous spots popular for its black sand beaches, lagoons and waterfalls. To reach there, it took us approximately 35 hours, and the journey was quite exhausting since I didn't sleep at all during the flight.
I was busy looking out of the window while Yuvaan sulked in the back row. He said he wouldn't accompany me, but on our departure day, he was ready with his suitcases before me.
Shruti Aunty was shocked, just like Shaurya, Advait and Grace when I announced that I was taking my husband along with me for the vacation - I didn't explain them why though.
Yuvaan was quite in a good mood when we left, but when I exchanged my seat with a passenger who had a window seat, he got in a fight with that man. I tried to solve the issue but when I saw that he wasn't listening, I ignored him and enjoyed my ride.
The passenger who gave me his seat was really kind and didn't drag the argument unlike Yuvaan whose burning gaze was passing through my skull from behind.
Once we got down at Papeete, Tahiti's capital, my husband warned me that if I was planning on doing something weird, he would drown me in the ocean. I should have been afraid for bringing my future ex-husband cum murderer with me, but surprisingly, I wasn't.
Just like always, I didn't pay attention to his blabbering and made my way towards the resort where our rooms were booked. The place was serene, and if it was possible, I would have stayed there for my whole life.
Maybe I could.
I walked down the wooden walkway which connected the luxury homes built overwater with private terraces. There was a long beach running along the coastline from my right side to the left, lined by coconut trees and swarmed by other tourists.
