"What do you mean I was gifted to you?"
"It is not good to eavesdrop but you heard it right. You are a gift that was forcefully imposed on me."
"Y-You... are.... lying..."
"Am I? You know what? Gift is a very fancy term for you. 'Trash' suits you be...

"Can you please shut up- I mean give yourself some rest," Sudhir pleaded.
"What a bummer. You already tired of my story session? Yuvaan loves it, you know, whenever I tell him imaginary tales," I said.
Sudhir shifted in his spot and checked his wristwatch. He mumbled why his brother hadn't returned yet. He avoided my gaze and panicked when I began another random story. He was on the verge of blowing his fuse when Sudeep arrived with some takeouts. He jumped up from his spot and told Sudeep to keep an eye on me while he refreshed his mind outside.
Sudeep shot his brother a confused look and started taking out Chinese noodles from the bags. He glanced at me and put a plate in front of me with a plastic fork. I told him to untie my hands, but he didn't fall prey to my plans. Unlike his elder brother, he didn't show any weakness and decided to feed me himself.
"I know what you are trying to do," he grumbled. "You think you can annoy us by talking non-stop, and we would let you go? Not a chance, woman. I am not a scaredy cat, and stop glaring at me like that. I won't hold back from hitting you in fear that you are Yuvaan Raichand's wife."
"Why don't you try then?" I challenged, but Sudeep maintained his calm and fed me the first morsel.
"Damn, you are really good at ignoring people, aren't you?" I poked.
"Shut up and just eat."
I rolled my eyes and observed my kidnapper no.2 as he fed me. He twisted his lips when I asked him to fill my plate again. He did as told but warned me that it was the last round of my meal. I wouldn't be getting anything to eat for the rest of the day, and the next meal would be only tomorrow, in the afternoon.
"At least, you are giving me food when I ask for it. Are you really kidnappers?" I mumbled.
"We aren't professionals, okay? We only need the money, nothing else. That's why, do as we say if you don't want to get hurt," Sudhir reminded me.
He picked up the empty plates and gathered them in a plastic bag. He wiped the stool with a cloth and came back after checking on his brother. He took out some deck cards from under the bed and played by himself after adjusting my hand ties. He told me that they would be calling Yuvaan today and would ask for ransom.
"Why are you playing alone?" I asked him, ignoring everything else.
"What?" He raised his eyebrows.
"I thought you were a good person when you gave me food, but you are playing alone without even asking me. Looks like, you aren't that good after all. How much I wish someone would ask me to play instead of ignoring my presence."
Sudeep slowly got up from the bed and pointed his finger at me in disbelief. "Why are you crying out of the blue? What a strange woman! You are acting, aren't you?"
"Let me play, let me play, let me play..." I repeated on loop.
Sudeep hurriedly went outside and dragged Sudhir inside. He showed me how I was behaving, making both brothers look at me as if I was some maniac. Sudeep asked Sudhir if he did something to me for me to behave like that, to which Sudhir yelled in response that it was I who tortured him instead.
