Since it was my last day of vacation, I took full advantage of it. I spent my whole day binging in the local restaurants and playing on the beach with strangers and their kids. I even did scuba diving and rode the jet boat along with parasailing.

I would have said that overall my vacation was awesome, but there was someone who was sulking from the morning. He came with me to the beach and followed me wherever I went, but he didn't utter a single word.

I would have ignored him if he wasn't spoiling my mood too. I told him to be in his room and he just shot me a murderous glare. That was the only time I conversed with him and let him be for the rest of the day.

Everything was going fine, but there was a small doubt which was bugging me since I woke up. I remembered playing yesterday and not returning to the hotel, so when I found myself in my bed, I was confused; even my clothes weren't the same which I had wore while going outside.

And when I went to ask Yuvaan if he brought me back to my room, he blew off on me and started yelling that I should stop bothering him. As I had gotten a hang of his mood swings, I didn't get in an argument and decided to have fun by myself.

But a few minutes after I left, I noticed him following me and shooting daggers at me like he always did. When I got back to the resort to relax, he threw me an annoyed glance and retired to his room. I ignored him and spend the rest of my time happily.

In the flight, I took a window seat but my eyes kept drifting off to him. He was sitting two seats away and glaring at the old man beside me. I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to judge his behaviour and he caught my stare.

I looked away and once we landed back in India, I took a breath of relief. No matter how much I liked traveling overseas, returning back to my country felt really good. I sat in the car beside Yuvaan who shifted away when I accidentally touched his arm.

Throughout the ride, he kept his mouth shut and I kept staring at him; he was acting weird, he always did, but I felt something was off this time. Earlier, if he was frustrated with me, he would shout or curse or disrespect me, but he was acting completely different.

"Aren't you staring too much?" he accused when he saw me looking at him with curious eyes.

"My will." I shrugged.

He rolled his eyes and slumped more in his seat. He kept checking his phone, and I saw some texts from his best friends. He shut the phone close and let out a huge breath.

"What will you do after the divorce?" he questioned in a low voice.

I raised my eyebrows. "That's none of your concern."

"You don't remember anything?" he queried.

"What am I supposed to remember?"

He glanced at me for a second and then went back to look out of the window. I was going to ask him again but stopped myself in time. I reminded myself to not get involved with him because the outcome was always bad.
