My birthday was never celebrated with so much grandeur before. I was over the moon on seeing the preparations and how much thought my husband and friends had put in to make my day special. I couldn't believe that someone would do so much for me without asking anything in return, but I was grateful for the blessings.
Also, Yuvaan revealed his past to me. I had already doubted about it on not seeing his father even once or any of them mentioning him, but I didn't expect him to be killed by Yuvaan. I didn't feel that my spouse did anything wrong by killing off a bastard.
When he finished telling me about his younger days, I told him that I was proud of him and didn't judge him for what he did to save his sister and niece. He was shocked on seeing my reaction which was expected, but fortunately, he didn't curl back and told me everything.
I wish I could also do so. If I tell him, would he stand back and let me handle it? No, he won't. Before I can even blink, he would turn those assholes into ashes, and I don't want that. Lokesh, Himesh, and my father deserve their punishment, but they won't exit the earth that easily.
"Reyna, I have kneaded the dough. You make puris, and I will prepare Yuvaan's morning drink," Grace Nana said.
I nodded, and as she did her work, I fried puris after putting the chawal kheer (rice kheer) on stove. It was Yuvaan's favorite, and I wanted to thank him by filling his stomach with his favorite dishes. I was almost done with my cooking when Yuvaan wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed the back of my head.
