No one else- Shiningsun

Lillie and Sun had been best friends since he came to the Pokémon school. Though, as time went on they got closer and closer. Even developing romantic feelings for each other, but both were to afraid to tell the other.

In fact, it wasn't until Gladion started dating Sun's sister, Moon, that he gathered the courage together to tell Lillie. At least that way Gladion would be less inclined to kill him.

So, he called Lillie.

"Hello?" Lillie answered the phone.

"Hey Lillie, it's Sun. Could you please meet me? A bit before lunch?" Sun asked.

"Sure. What are we going to do?" Lillie chirped.

"Well...I want to tell you something important, but it has to be in person. Meet me at the meadow and so we can talk. Than after that, maybe we could go to lunch after." Sun suggested.

"Sounds like fun. I'll see you soon. Bye." Lillie than hung up the phone.

Sun put the phone away and let out a huge breath. The first step was done. Soon it would be time to tell her and he had to keep this courage with him.

The time had finally come. Sun was standing in the meadow with a bouquet of lilies in hand. He was pacing a bit in anticipation. Was she going to feel the same way? Would she still want to be friends with him if she didn't feel the same? Would he lose her?

"Sun! Are you there?" Lillie called, bringing him back from his thoughts.

He jumped and hid the flowers behind his back.

"Over here." Sun declared.

Lillie then appeared and approached him with a bright beautiful smile on her face.

"Hi Sun. It's so nice to see you in person." Lillie remarked. "What did you want to tell me?"

"Oh...right...um..." Sun fumbled for what to say. He took in a huge breath and showed her the flowers. "These are for you. Oh...I probably should have saved these for after...but...um...ok. Let's just go with this. Lillie...I have asked you here to...confession something...to you."

"Alright. What do you want to tell me?" Lillie asked nervously.

"I...I..." Sun struggled to get this out. He finally squeezed his eyes shut and finally said it. "I love you Lillie!"

Lillie's eyes widened as a light blush dusted her cheeks.

"W...what did you just say?" Lillie questioned.

"I love you, Lillie." Sun repeated.

Lillie's eyes flicked to the ground and Sun began to regret this. He thought his friendship with her was ruined but he wrong.

"Are you sure?" Lillie muttered sadly.

Sun blinked in surprise. "What?"

"Are you sure that you love me?" Lillie asked again.

"Why would you ask that?" Sun questioned, baffled.

"Because...there are so many other girls out there. What if you meet someone else and you fall in love and she makes you happier than you have ever been." Lillie fought back tears.

"Woah! Lillie! Stop right there." Sun grabbed her shoulders. "I don't know what or who made you think such a think, but it isn't true. There is no one else now and there never will be. You are so wonderful Lillie. You're smart, sweet, kind, so adorable and really gorgeous. I love you and I only want to be with you."

Sun then stopped and took a step back. He suddenly realized that she could have been trying to let him down easy and now he was only making her feel worse about it.

"Sorry. I probably should have let you finish. If you don't want to be with me, I understand. I'll let you be happy with whoever you choose." Sun scratched the back of his head.

Lillie suddenly hugged him.

"I'm sorry too. The truth is, I do love you. I love you so much and I just want you to be sure you're happy. There is no one else I'd rather be with than you." Lillie smiled up at him.

Sun couldn't take it another moment. She was to adorable and he was so much in love. He leaned down and gently kissed her soft lips. Lillie quickly pulled him closer and kissed him back. It was so amazing and sweet and they never wanted the moment to end.

There was no one else in the world in they blissful, perfect moment and they were happy it was just them.
