Chapter Eight: Plankton's final plot

Narrator's POV:

Once upon a time, under the sea, there was a little town called, 'Bikini Bottom'. In this town, there was a place called 'the Krusty Krab'. Every greasy spoon has a fry cook, and the one who worked here was named Spongebob Squarepants. Now, Spongebob loved his job as a fry cook more than anything. And that is saying a lot. Because he loved everything! He loved his pet snail, Gary. He loved his best friend, Patrick. He loved blowing bubbles and jellyfishing. He loved making Krabby Patties for the folks in Bikini Bottom just as much as they loved eating them.

"Why," you may ask, "do they love this greasy meal sandwich so much? Why did they eat them for Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner despite the doctor's warnings?"

Ah, it was a secret. No one was sure what was in those Patties that made them so delicious. And frankly, no one cared, except for Plankton. Plankton wore a dark green suit with a turtleneck coat and an eye patch. His skin was a normal shade of peach, a brown eye, and raven hair that was tied back into two plats and a ponytail.

Plankton owned a restaurant right across the street from the Krusty Krab, where no one ate because the food was really bad! Plankton made it his life's work to steal the recipe. But Spongebob was always there to protect it. But today would be different. A green airplane approached the Krusty Krab as Spongebob was outside taking out the trash when Patrick came up to him.

Patrick greeted his friend dressed in his normal green shorts, pink tie-dye shirt, and a Hawaiian button-up shirt that wasn't buttoned up. Spongebob greeted him back asking if he was here for his pre-lunch Krabby Patty. Patrick told him he was getting two. One for himself and one for his friend. His friend being his stomach. The two friends laughed at Patrick's ridiculous humor.

Patrick went inside when Spongebob heard the engine of the airplane which then dropped a giant jar of tartar sauce close to the Krusty Krab. Mr Krabs was outside the entrance door counting his money as Spongebob walks out the front door. Spongebob told Mr. Krabs about it saying that he thought the Tartar sauce delivery came on Thursday. Mr. Krabs was confused until the tartar sauce splashed everywhere on the Krusty Krab including Spongebob and Mr. Krabs. 

"Bullseye!" Plankton shouted from inside his plane and laughed evilly.

Mr. Krabs knew what to do now. As Plankton approached the Krusty Krab, Spongebob and Patrick went on top of the Krusty Krab wearing army clothes with a big gun. Spongebob told Partick to load it with potatoes. Patrick asked if he wanted them mashed or scalloped. Spongebob told him that he wanted them raw. Patrick threw the plates of Mashed and scalloped potatoes and loaded the gun with raw potatoes.

Meanwhile, inside the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs looked inside his safe at his secret formula. Once he was sure it was safe, Mr. Krabs gave the order to fire at Plankton. Spongebob fired the potatoes out of the weapon at Plankton's plane. Plankton saw them coming and started to avoid them. He was closing in fast. Patrick told Spongebob that they might have a few minutes before he arrives.

Spongebob turned the binoculars Patrick was looking through the right way around and Patrick screamed. Plankton was closer than he thought. Spongebob continued to fire potatoes at Plankton and some potatoes got into the propellers chopping them into fries. It was going to take more than that to bring down the plane. More potatoes flew over at Plankton's plane destroying it.

Everyone inside the Krusty Krab started cheering when the plane exploded. Spongebob and Patrick also cheered. But Plankton wasn't done yet. The plane might've gone down but Plankton still had a tank that was floating down with a parachute. As the tank landed, Plankton put a pickle inside the tank's gun before heading to the controls. The tank aimed perfectly toward Spongebob and Patrick. They gasped and jumped out of the way in slow-motion just in time. Spongebob and Patrick looked up at the falling pickles and went to a phone.

"Your order, sir?" Spongebob asked Sandy Cheeks the Squirrel instead of Mr Krabs.

"I'll have two Krabby Patties: extra ketchup, extra mustard and hold the mayo!" Sandy ordered.

"Wrong channel!" Spongebob said hanging up and called Mr Krabs, "your order, sir?"

"Extra ketchup, extra mustard, hold the mayo!" Mr Krabs ordered.

"Yes, sir!" Spongebob held up a big ketchup bottle followed by smaller ketchup and mustard bottles

And Patrick came up holding up a giant jar of Mayo. Mr. Krabs ordered Spongebob to unleash the condiments. Spongebob screamed while squirting the sauces at the tank as it continued towards the Krusty Krab. They soon ran out of sauce making the bottle fart. Spongebob and Patrick before reloading the bottle and squirting it again. As they continued firing at Plankton, Patrick started to get tired of holding the mayo.

He threw the mayo at the tank a few meters away. Plankton didn't think that would stop him but the tank crashed into the mayo before it exploded and splashed everything including Spongebob and Patrick. The mayo suddenly started to rumble. The tank had reassembled itself into a giant robot and Plankton laughed evilly.

Patrick suddenly remembered that he didn't work for Mr. Krabs and ran off, leaving Spongebob alone. Spongebob ran inside the Krusty Krab to Mr Krabs' office telling him that Plankton was here and that he had a giant robot. Mr. Krabs told him to bar the door and he did. With a single chair. Suddenly, the robot crashed through Mr Krabs' office stomping on Spongebob. Spongebob gasped and looked at Plankton laughing evilly.

"I'll take one Secret Formula... to go," Plankton told Mr. Krabs.

As the robot's hand reached towards the safe, Mr Krabs screamed guarding it but the robot stopped in its tracks.

"Oh, barnacles! I'm out to gas?" Plankton asked.

Spongebob and Mr Krabs laughed as Plankton exited the robot, "well, I'm not through yet. I've got something that will make you hand over that formula: something you can't resist."

Plankton pulled out his wallet and Mr Krabs gasped, "money?!"

"Yes," Plankton said opening his wallet to see absolutely nothing, "that's... that's... that's impossible!"

Plankton rummaged through his wallet but still found nothing, "well, it was full of money just last week. Then I bought that airplane, and built that tank-"

"Sounds to me like someone's just a wee bit... broke!" Mr Krabs teased.

Plankton sighed, "well, Krabs, I guess you've won. I've spent every penny I've ever made trying to put you out of business... except this one," he pulled out a penny out of his pocket, "my last penny. Besides, what could I do with one measly cent, anyway?"

"You could give it to me. Just a suggestion."

Plankton threw the penny to Mr. Krabs, "here, take it! You've taken everything else, why not?"

Plankton started to cry as Mr Krabs put the penny in his safe. Spongebob and Mr Krabs showed Plankton to the now broken exit while he continued to cry.

"Well Plankton, like a reheated Krabby Patty, you've been foiled again!" Mr. Krabs told him.

"I guess this means that the Secret Formula's safe forever. Right, Mr. Krabs?" Spongebob asked.

"It sure does, boy," Mr. Krabs pushed Plankton to the exit, "why don't you scurry along? Thanks for coming! Have a nice day!"
