After a bit of help from Sandy, we sent Squidly back to his time and I went to check on Squidward. I don't know how long I've actually been gone so I kinda wanted to know from him. I knocked on the door and Squidward answered still in his pyjamas.

'This is going to be the weirdest question I will ever ask but, how long have I been gone?' I asked.

"A few hours," he replied.

I have a thumbs up and asked if I could come in. He let me and, thankfully, it didn't seem he did anything stupid while I was away.

"Why are you dressed like that?" Squidward asked.

'I went to a thing called Medieval Moments with Spongebob and Patrick and the people there dressed me like this and let me keep it,' I explained.

"Well... you look beautiful, Princess (Y/N)."

I smiled remembering Squidly saying somewhat the same thing. Squidward's family hasn't changed much since the twelfth century.

'Are you feeling any better since yesterday?' I asked.

"A little..."

'Is it enough to get you back to work?'

"As long as you're there I would say yes."

'Good, because Mr. Krabs won't let me go back to work until you do.'

"Definitely sounds like Mr. Krabs."

'Another strange question, do you know your family tree?'

"No, why?"

'Get dressed, we're going to the library,' I told him.

Once he was dressed, we rushed to the library where I searched for Squidward's family tree. I finally found it and started looking through it until I found the one and only Squidly. I really did go to the twelfth century and just sent Squidly back.

"(Y/N), what is this about?" Squidward asked.

'What would you say if I told you I met your medieval ancestor Squidly?' I asked.

"I would say you're crazy. How in the world did you meet my over 900-year-old ancestor?"

'Time travel by seahorses. And to answer your first question: I wanted to know if I really did meet him.'

"Fair enough."

'And while I was there, I might have found out why you aren't the greatest clarinet player. No offense.'

"None taken. Why am I a bad clarinet player then?"

'Squidly was having trouble and he gave up saying "if I never learn to play with ease, may my own great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson be cursed tenfold!".'

"I'm the unfortunate seventh great-grandson, aren't I?"

I nodded.

"Look who's finally back," Mr

"Look who's finally back," Mr. Krabs said, "now get back to work and make me money!"

Typical Krabs. So that's what we did. Everything was back to normal. I hope.

(A/N: no cliffhanger I just ran out of ideas. See you next week.)
