Chapter Twenty-Four: Bikini Bottom Day

Narrator's POV:

Ahh... bonjour, salut, and welcome to this quiet corner of the ocean floor, teeming with all the many kinds of undersea life. It is here we find the sub-marine habitat known as... Bikini Bottom. Let's us observe now as the sun rises on a new nautical day. Here, we see a common clumping of kelp. And here, a common clumping of coral. And here, a Pineapple! This fruit is home to one of the most fascinating sea creatures of all. Aphysina fistularis- the yellow sponge! Spongebob's foghorn alarm clock woke him up and he stretched with a happy smile.

"Good morning world, and all who inhabit it!" Spongebob got up, 'jump out of bed, mix up a breakfast for my fav'rite pet snail.'

Gary entered with a small, "meow!"

'Full steam ahead; the S.S. I Am Ready is about to set sail!' Spongebob saluted, 'this kind of day couldn't get much better but it keeps on trying.'

Spongebob did a little dance before laughing.

'I'm on my way, somewhere there's a Krabby Patty that needs frying,' he grabbed a spatula, flipped an imaginary Patty into the air, and ate it before giving his spatula to the conductor, 'and who's the lucky sponge in the mirror who is living his dream? Who's always extra careful with his dental hygiene? Gary, it's me! Happy just to be here in the world-renowned Bikini Bottom! How I love this town, Bikini Bottom when the sun shines down on a beautiful Bikini Bottom Day!'

Spongebob exited his home to be greeted by (Y/N) walking out of her home, "good morning, (Y/N)!"

(Y/N) waved at Spongebob before waving to Patrick behind him.

"Good morning, Patrick!" Spongebob greeted.

Patrick yawned and stretched, "is it morning already?"

"Yep, and I'm singing an opening number!"

"Ooh, I want a verse! I want a verse! I missed a snack; this busy schedule makes it hard to be me,' Patrick tried to dance sitting down and grabbed a TV remote from behind him, 'to stay on track, now I'll have to eat it while I'm watching TV,' Patrick flipped through the channels, 'there might not be time for a nap but I'll do what I can; they're showing all the episodes of-'

'Mermaid man!' The two friends said together.

"Every single one! I'm spending all day underneath my favourite rock!'

'Favourite rock.'

'Bikini Bottom!'

'Now what rhymes with rock?' Patrick asked.

'Rhymes with rock.'

'Bikini Bottom!'

'Nothing rhymes with rock! It's a typical Bikini Bottom day...'

"No, Patrick, it's a beautiful day. And a lot of things rhymes with rock," Spongebob told him.

"Uhh, I don't think so," Patrick said.

"Sure. Clock, smock, electroshock..."

"Oooh!"

"Pop n' lock!"
