Chapter Twelve: Superheroes!

We arrived back at Burger Beard's ship in different outfits and bodies. My outfit was the same color as my shirt with white gloves and boots with piano keys on them, I had a mask that covered the top of my head and my eyes and I even had biceps, packs, and abs! I was looking good.

Spongebob had his normal clothes on but he had a blue mask on same as mine but he had a bubble blower on top and he too was buff. Patrick's outfit was the same design as his everyday shorts. Mr. Krabs was a robot so nothing much changed. (Y/N), on the other hand, looked absolutely amazing compared to the rest of us.

She wore a white sailors shirt under a red coat with golden designs, a small black skinny bowtie with a skull in the middle, black trousers, black boots, black net tails on each side of her coat, a black hat with a small net and a feather on the left and a sword on her belt. We walked up to the ship while I tried not to stare at (Y/N) because she looked so beautiful.

"We'll take one secret formula... to go," Spongebob told Burger Beard.

Burger Beard turned and glared at us. Spongebob told the people around us to clear the area as things would get messy. Someone just took a picture of us and Spongebob said my superhero name so I formed my clarinet, took a deep breath, and blew it playing horrible music causing Burger Beard's customers to cover their ears and ran away. Burger Beard begged them not to leave but they couldn't hear him.

He was clearly angry and stormed out of his ship. Spongebob said Patrick's Superhero name and told him to take the pirate down. Patrick scrunched his face up and, in a dramatic gesture, grabbed the ice cream cones that flew over to him and held them up as the sky turned grey and lightning striked. Burger Beard held up a pink umbrella expecting it to rain but Patrick ate the ice creams happily and the clouds disappeared. Of course, that's his power!

Burger Beard walked over to his ship to retrieve his book as Patrick finished his ice creams. Burger Beard prepared to write in the book again when Mr. Krabs fired his claw at Burger Beard's arm pinning him to his ship. His free arm with the feather went to the book but Mr. Krabs fired his other claw pinning his other arm to the ship. Spongebob blew a bubble from the loop on his mask which floated over to the book, engulfing it, and floated away.

This seemed to be a perfect time for hands in the middle according to Spongebob. I mean, we're not in much danger anymore. Mr. Krabs put his hand in the middle but remembered that both claws were pinning Burger Beard to his ship so he called one of them back and put it in the middle. We put our hand in the middle when a giant squirrel paw got in and we broke the hands in the middle rather disgusted. The paw belonged to a Squirrel who turned out to be Sandy!

Patrick then noticed that Burger Beard had escaped. We looked behind Spongebob to see Burger Beard and his ship gone and Mr. Krabs' claw on the floor. Perfect. Spongebob found something on the floor and investigated it by licking it. It was a trail of grease. Mr. Krabs lept in the air turning his lower half into a jet cycle and sped off down the road. Patrick jumped on Spongebob's back who started to fly with his bubbles and got on Sandy's back with (Y/N) holding onto my waist.

(Y/N)'s POV:

We followed Burger Beard's ship gradually getting closer. He must have seen us and hulled down two more sails going faster. Spongebob took a deep breath blowing more bubbles speeding past us but I managed to jump on his back. Patrick tried to grab the edge of the ship once we got closer as Burger Beard tried to steer away when he saw us but Patrick managed to grab the side kicked Spongebob and me away. Spongebob blew more bubbles propelling himself into the crow's nest hitting his head. I jumped on the deck as Spongebob fell off the side. I unleashed my sword which Burger Beard heard and looked down at me.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the silent girl," he said pulling out a spatula sword walking over to me.

"Return the Krabby Patty formula, Burger Beard," I told him hoping Patrick couldn't hear me since he was the closest.

"Oh, so you do talk," he said not really shocked.

Not saying anymore, I lunged at him, making my first move. I'll be honest, he's good with a sword. I'm not that great but I did my best. But he did use my lack of experience to either elbow me in the face or kick me away. At one point, he kicked me to the rail and towered over me pushing my sword closer to me as I leaned over the rail. I felt like I might snap in half if I bent over any more.

"I know who you are, (Y/N)," Burger Beard told me, "I knew your father and yourself when you were just a babe. If you call off this chase, I'll take you to him."

It was a nice offer but that was never gonna happen. I kicked him in the stomach and jumped off the side rolling on the floor so I didn't break anything. Squidward picked me up when he and Sandy ran past me. He asked me if I was alright to which I just nodded. I saw Burger Beard release his anchor knocking Spongebob and Patrick off the ship. Mr Krabs grabbed the anchor and we all climbed on him. Burger Beard climbed up to the crow's nest to get the book.

Spongebob told Sandy to go and stop him. She jumped on the chain and started walking over to the ship. It was clear she wasn't gonna make it to the ship in time and Spongebob pointed it out. Like, no shrimp sherlock. I noticed a fish statue ahead so I tapped Spongebob's shoulder and pointed to it. We all leaned towards the statue with the anchor and hooked it in the fish's mouth. The impact made us fall off and took the statue off its stand. The fish dragged along the road and Squidward pulled me out of the way before the fish crushed me.

"I'm saving you a lot today," Squidward commented still holding me in his arms.

I gave an amused smiled and shook my head catching a glimpse of Burger Beard reaching for the book in the bubble. Spongebob called Squidward's name so he brought out his clarinet and blew it popping the bubble which fell below deck. Squidward fell down on my lap out of breath. I helped him up as Burger Beard screamed and looked at us furiously. Let's end this. Spongebob told Sandy to get him. Sandy jumped up on a peanut cart and dove head first into it.

People screamed and ran away from Sandy as she gathered a bunch of peanuts in her mouth and started spitting them at Burger Beard. He dogged them so Sandy tried again spitting them out like a machine gun but Burger Beard smacked them out of the way with his spatula sword. Unfortunately, Sandy soon ran out of nuts. Burger Beard went to the crow's nest and mockingly laughed at us.

Patrick tried his powers again and millions of ice creams flew towards Burger Beard. He laughed evilly and swung on a rope redirecting the ice creams back to Patrick. Patrick got hit by them from all angles and fell over fainting. Spongebob stared at Burger Beard as he taunted Spongebob with the formula. Mr. Krabs fired both of his claws at the mast making it snap in two places making Burger Beard fall on the deck of his ship dropping the formula.

Mr. Krabs' claws returned to him and he went to grab his formula but Burger Beard came out of his ship and fired melted butter at Mr Krabs. Spongebob reached for the formula but Burger Beard pulled a lever to reveal about twenty cannons. Spongebob put the formula back down and Burger Beard fired his cannons at him who dogged until one of the cannonballs got caught in Spongebob's mask trapping it in a bubble.

As Spongebob continued catching cannonballs in bubbles, Patrick popped one so the cannonball fell right on his face. Spongebob noticed and got hit by a ball knocking him backwards. Burger Beard grabbed the formula before coming over to me. I was ready to pull my sword out again when he grabbed me by the neck, making me grab his hand to escape his grip.

"I'll give you one last chance (Y/N), call this off and you'll be returned to your real father," Burger Beard tried to reason with me.

"Never!" I told him quietly.

He growled and punched me in the stomach making a quick getaway as I fell to the floor. Squidward ran up to me and pulled me gently onto his lap.

"I know I've asked this many times today but, are you alright?" Squidward asked.

I nodded again and sat up wincing a little. He punched me hard. I looked over at Burger Beards ship to see it being held up by...
