"Levi. I know you would never cheat on me but... I've heard rumors and-" Levi started kissing your neck.

"Levi. Be serious."

"Y/n. You know I would never cheat on you. I love you and only you." Your whole face turned red.

"I know. It was silly of me to think otherwise wasn't it?"

"It was." Levi wove his fingers into your hair.

Erwin sat next to you holding your crying form.

"I believed him Erwin."

"I know. I'm sorry Y/n. Levi's always been like this." You gripped Erwin's shirt and cried into his chest.

"But I actually... believed him. He seemed so real." Erwin held you closer.

"I wish I could have someone like you Erwin. Someone kind... and handsome... and smart... and not an asshole." Erwin's heart pounded faster, you could feel the acceleration by touching his chest.

"Well... I'm like me." Erwin replied hopefully.

"You're funny too Erwin." Erwin looked to the side. Why was he doing this? He was always your second. He was never the most important person to you. Yet he was there for you, he let you walk all over him because he loved you. Erwin sighed and got up.

"Y/n. Do you know I love you?"

"I... wait what?"

"I've loved you for 4 years." You suddenly felt overwhelmed by his revelation.

"I don't know what to say." Erwin chuckled sadly.

"I know you love Levi, but I have to tell you I can't keep-"

"Erwin it's not that. I have had a crush on you since high school."

"What?!"

"I thought you were really smart and funny and kind. And of course handsome. I just thought I had no chance with you. Then when Levi asked me out I said yes because you asked Marie out."

"I only asked Marie because everyone shipped us. I never actually liked her."

"Really?"

"Yes. Why do you think I set Marie and Nile up?" Erwin sat back down on your bed next to you and your knees were touching.

"So... where do we go from here?"

"I don't know. I feel kind of foolish."

"Me too." Erwin interlaced his fingers with yours and you blushed.

knock knock knock

The two of you jumped apart. Then you stood up and went to answer the door.

"Y/n I-" You saw Levi and tried closing the door but he stuck his foot in the door.

"Y/n please listen to what I have to say."

"It's too late Levi. You lied to me and cheated. Do you know how much that hurt? I trusted you and you lied."

"Is there someone else? Is that why you're acting like this?!"

"How dare you blame me for cheating when you-"

"Yes. There is someone else." Erwin unwrapped your hand from the door handle and opened the door.

"Who is the other person then?"

"Me."

"What? You?"

"I didn't stutter did I?"

"Really? This loser over me Y/n?" You bit your lip. After all these years of loving Levi, you couldn't just stop... but you've also loved Erwin. All the pain and heartache Levi made you go through... all the times Erwin comforted you. All those lonely nights.

"Yes. Levi, whenever you hurt me, do you know who was there?" Levi's eyes darkened.

"I don't get you. You said you loved me."

"I love Erwin too. You know I had a crush on him in high school."

"You told me you were over him! You were the liar!" Erwin stood in front of you protectively. Levi pulled back his arm and slammed his fist into Erwin's face. Erwin fell into you, and you caught him.

"You'll pay for that bastard." Erwin swung at Levi, but he dodged. It was only a decoy however, and another fist came at Levi. Blood came out of Levi's mouth.

"Fuck you. You little shit."

"You're calling me little? I'm taller than you."

"You'll pay for that." They lunged at each other.

"Stop!" They looked at you, and their eyes had a fire in them.

"Levi. I'm sorry, but we're over. Erwin, you should be more mature than that." Levi looked away to hide his pained face, and Erwin looked down shamefully.

"Sorry Y/n."

"I'll... see you sometime then Y/n. Just remember that I love you." Then Levi looked at Erwin.

"Take care of her. Or I'll beat your ass again."

"Well, I'd call the fight a draw really."

Levi looked at you, and you saw more emotion in his eyes then you've seen in years.

"Bye Y/n. I love you... and I'm sorry for everything."

"It's too late Levi, but I accept your apology. Thank you." Levi opened the door, then looked back at you and stepped into the hallway. He closed the door slowly and you smiled at him. Levi reluctantly closed the door.

Bonus:

"Fucking idiot!" Levi pounded his fists into a large oak tree. His knuckles were bloody, and he felt like passing out. Eventually, he collapsed on the grassy ground.

"How could you let her go? How could you let her go?! You idiot!"
