"I'll see you later."

"Bye Erwin." You kissed your husband on the cheek and walked back home.

"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" Your four year old son and two year old daughter came running toward you.

"We missed you mommy!" You picked your daughter up.

"You did?! I was only gone for a little!" They both giggled.

"Silly mommy! You were gone for ages!"

"I was?!"

"Yeah!"

"I'll make up for it and make something nice and yummy for dinner."

"But it's breakfast time!"

"Today's a special day for me and your daddy, and I'm going to make us all a really yummy dinner, ok?"

"OK! Why's today special?"

"It's our anniversary. We've been married for five years."

"Woooooow. That's older than me!" You smiled.

"Yup!"

10 hours later (7 PM)

"Look mommy! Look!" Little Mike came running towards you with Zoe toddling behind him.

"We got you flowers!" He produced a bouquet of flowers from behind his back.

"Awww. Mike they're so beautiful. Thank you." You gave him a sloppy kiss on the cheek. (Which he wiped off afterward.)

"Mommy!" Zoe gave you a card that had little drawings.

"What's this for?"

"An-ver-sry!" said Zoe.

"Ann-i-ver-sa-ry Zoe." Corrected Mike.

"Ann-ver-sary."

"That's good!" Zoe smiled and giggled.

"When will daddy be home?"

"Soon," You looked at the clock. "in about 30 minutes. Just wait patiently guys."

"Yes mommy!"

1 hour later (8 PM)

"Where's daddy mommy?" You smiled sadly.

"He's keeping us all safe from the titans right now."

"Cool! Is daddy like the heroes Uncle Levi tells us about?"

"Mhhm." You gave the kids their dinner since it was already 8:00. Then you put them to bed and Erwin still wasn't back home. '9:00 already.'

1 hour later (10 PM)

You were asleep at the dining table when Erwin walked into the house. He was confused as to why you were there and not in bed. Then he got a sudden feeling like he had forgotten something. 'What is it? What did I forget? Fuck.'  He walked up to you. Your features were perfect to him, but when he looked at your face, there were tear streaks on your cheeks. 'Why would she cry? Did something happen... oh no.'  He looked at the calendar and it read January 7. 'Our anniversary. I'm so sorry Y/n. I'm so fucking stupid.'  Erwin picked you up and brought you to your bed. He changed out of his clothes and got in bed with you.

"Y/n."

"Unnn." You groaned.

"I'm sorry I forgot about our anniversary."

"It's fine."

"No, no it's not. I'm really sorry, I'll make it up to you somehow. I promise."

"Okay." Then Erwin wrapped his arms around you and spooned you.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
