"i didn't want to believe it"

i wake up and feel mattias arms around me. i immediately smile remembering yesterday. i look at the clock and it's 10:30am. I try to wiggle out of his grip but i end up waking him up.
"mmm stay" he groans in his hot raspy morning voice.
"i need to pee I'll be back in a minute" i say and go to the bathroom.
When i come out mattias on his phone while lying on the bed. he sees me and smiles and i get back into bed and cuddle him.
"what are you doing today baby" he says.
'baby' thats new.
"i think im going to see jemma today i need to catch her up with a lot of things" i reply.
"okay i think im going to facetime the boys in new jersey and then -" he's interuppted by an incoming call from Alejandro.
He answers it and tells alejandro to wait 5 minutes.
"no don't worry baby im going to Jemmas now anyway, I'll see you later" i give him a quick kiss and start getting ready.

I get to Jemmas and knock on the door.
She opens the door and we embrace in a nice long hug.
"i missed you smelly" i say while we go upto her room.
"me too stinky" she says while laughing.
We sit on her bed for 3 hours talking about me and mattia and then she tells me about this guy shes been talking to called Josh. He seems nice so i hope he doesnt mess with her.
I decide to check my phone after a while and see 200 mentions in a post of mattia kissing another girl. no. no. no.
i have 4 missed calls from mattia and 6 messages.
i turn to look at jemma and a tear slips out my eye and falls down my cheek.
"hey whats wrong" she comes over and hugs me.
i show her the post.
"shit. okay lets not jump to conclusions i dont see mattia as an idiot so im sure theres an explanation" she says calmly.
"ill drop you home so you can talk okay" i nod and try to stop the tears coming down my face. i trust him, i dont wanna believe that he could cheat on me the day after asking me out.
we get to my house and Jemma hugs me and wishes me luck and tells me to call her as soon as its sorted.
I unlock the door and mattia comes running downstairs.
"y/n its not what it looks like i can explain"
"explain then."
"that picture was taken over a year ago, shes my ex, she found out that im dating you and posted it to fuck things up. i wouldnt do that to you i promise." he says while his voice cracks.
i breathe a sigh of relief and he pulls me into a tight hug.
"did you think it was real?" he says while i look into his eyes. they seem hurt.
"i didnt wanna believe anything until i heard you. and im glad i didnt." i say and i hug him back.
he tilts my head up and kisses me softly on the lips.
"you're the only one i want y/n" he says breaking the kiss.
"and you're the only one i want as well"
we smile and lean our heads onto eachother.
We go upstairs and i ask him how the boys were and he asked me about jemma and i remembered to call her. i explain everything over the phone and she sounds relieved for me.
We go down and eat some spaghetti for dinner and get our stuff ready for school tomorrow.
We make some tiktoks together and and chill out with eachtoher for the rest of the evening. We get into bed at 10pm and mattia stays with me again. He kisses me goodnight and i cuddle into his chest and we fall asleep.
