i woke up and instantly my hand reached for mattia. he wasn't there and then all of yesterdays events came flooding back. i sighed and looked at my phone , it was 11:30am. i got up and brushed my teeth and walked out the room. everyone was downstairs but you could literally feel the tension. mattia looked up at me as i walked in but went back to watching youtube on his phone. kairi , jaden and ale were talking together and jemma , jason and noami were talking about something else. i walked over and sat next to naomi and they were talking about going shopping later for nail supplies. after a while everyone was getting ready to leave.
"whose going in what car?" jaden asked , forcing us all to talk for the first time this morning.
"me , naomi and jason are going to the mall" jemma said.
"okay so you guys take my car because jason has to come back here anyway" jaden said and they nodded and got ready to leave.
"mattia can you drop us back?" kairi asked him and he nodded. we all got into mattia's car , i sat in the front seat and kai and ale at the back. it was basically silent the whole ride apart from his playlist playing from the aux. We dropped the boys off and made it back home.
"hey, where did you stay last night? you didn't text me" mattia's mum said as we came through the door. fuck.
"i'm sorry mama , it got late so we stayed with our friend jaden, i forgot to text you" mattia said , following her into the kitchen.
"okay make sure you text me next time" she said giving us both a hug. We went upstairs and i went straight to the bathroom to shower and change.

I came out the bathroom and mattia had also showered and changed and was sitting on the bed. He was still barely making eye contact with me so i decided to just chill downstairs. i took my phone off charge and was about to leave the room when he grabbed my arm and turned me around. i looked at him in surprise.
"where were you going?" he asked.
"downstairs"
"i'm sorry i upset you yesterday" he said quietly and i looked at him.
"but i meant what i said. you really shouldn't have been there" he added and i sighed.
"i get why you didn't want me there but i could say the same for you being there" i said and he shook his head.
"i can protect myself. even if he used the knife , i would have handled it myself or with the boys. i made a promise to my mum to protect you before anyone , if they did something to you then i would've ended up in a cell" he said and my heart softened at his words.
"i don't want you getting hurt because of me so can we promise to protect each other , not just for you to protect me" i said.
"baby you already protected me yesterday when you got him to drop the knife" he said , laughing a little but he put his pinkie finger out for me to lock mine with.
"promise" he said and i locked my pinkie with his.
"promise" i said and we left our pinkies locked and he pulled me into a kiss. I kissed him back and the familiar sensation of butterflies came back into my stomach. i felt him smile against the kiss and pull me into his lap so i was straddling him. my hands went up to his hair and a small moan escaped his mouth as i tugged on it slightly. i smiled because i knew he was getting into it but we weren't about to fuck while his mum was downstairs. i went back to kissing him and his hands came up to my neck and i pulled away to see his face. god he's another level of attractive.
"mm come back" he said and his lips found mine again and he slipped his tongue into my mouth. we kissed for a few more minutes and i could feel myself start to get a little too into it as well so i pulled away before ended up forgetting she was home. mattia looked up at me and his hair was messy and his lips were a little pinker than usual.
"why did we have to stopp" mattia whined.
"i think you're forgetting your mum is downstairs stupid"
"oh shit you're right" he laughed and pulled me onto the bed next to him and we laid down and talked about random things for a while. we ended up ranting about how jasmine and aladdin deserved better from the beginning , when i zoned out and was just admiring his face and everything about him. i saw the way his eyes lit up when he got excited , the way his lips curved when he smiled. he's so precious.
"i mean if they would have been able to properly see each other from the beginning then they would have had to much more time to get to know each other" he waffled , turning to look at me. i smiled and combed my fingers through his hair.
"come sit here" i said as i sat up against the headboard and he put his head in my lap and laid across the bed. i played with his hair while he carried on talking and i would give him an occasional little "mhm" to show him i was listening. after a while he stopped talking and i saw he'd fallen asleep while i was messing with his hair. i smiled at his peaceful face and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek.
i checked my phone and saw jemma had texted me , asking if i wanted anything from the mall. i didn't need anything so i replied and she told me she was staying at kai's tonight. I watched some netflix until mattia woke up at around 6pm. he sat up rubbing his eyes and he smiled when he saw me next to him.
"i need to pee , one sec" he said and went to the bathroom. He came out the bathroom looking a bit more awake and he came and sat next to me.
"you must have been tired , you slept for almost 2 hours" i said and he nodded.
"i couldn't sleep last night" he said. before i said anything my stomach rumbled and we both heard it and laughed.
"why didn't you wake me up if you were hungry stupid" he said kissing my cheek.
"because you looked like a little baby" i said and he smiled.
"come on let's go get some food" he said and we grabbed our stuff and we said goodbye to him mum and went to KFC. We came home after and talked with his mum for a little bit and then went up to bed.
