"daddy can you help me?"

TIME SKIP- 1 YEAR- we had our baby boy 3 months ago, his name is Leo Polibio. laila is now 4 years old, kiara is 3 years old. everyone's happy with where they are right now. our family was complete now with our two beautiful kids and we couldn't be happier. just before leo was born we moved into a 3 bedroom house so there was enough room for the kids and they had a garden now. 

"laila you're not playing outside until you've finished your breakfast" i said sternly as she kept trying to go back in the garden.

"but-"

"no buts, listen to mummy" mattia came in holding leo and i went over and kissed leo's cheeks.

"you're so horrible" laila said looking at me and mattia and dropping her fork on the plate loudly.

"go to your room" mattia said looking at her.

"i just want to play outside" 

"you're not behaving so you're not playing outside, now go upstairs" 

she got up with her eyes watering and ran upstairs. mattia always had a soft spot for her but when she was misbehaving he knew he had to put his foot down. he looked at me and i could tell he felt bad already.

"we'll go up in 20 minutes" i said to him and he nodded and kissed me. 

leo started crying because he was hungry.

"okay come on baby let's feed you" i said taking him to our room to feed him while mattia got changed and stuff. 

when i was done i put leo down in his cot and me and mattia went to laila's room. we heard her sniffling from outside her door and we both looked at each other and then walked in. she was laying on her bed hugging her stuffed dory toy. 

"laila" mattia said gently and she looked up with her red nose and watery eyes.

"why are you crying lay?" i asked her because she didn't usually cry, especially not over getting told off.

"it's not fair" she cried.

"what's not fair" mattia asked.

"you love leo more than me" 

"no we don't" we both said at the same time.

"lay, you're both our children and we love you both the same, why do you think we love him more?" i asked.

"because he's little and cute and me and daddy always used to have naps together but now leo gets to lay with him instead and me and you used to play together all the time and now you're always looking after him" she said quietly. 

"awh princess, i love our naps so much, the other day leo fell asleep in my arms i couldn't just move him. but you're always allowed to come nap with me and even if leo is there , there's enough room for you both" mattia said to her while putting his arm around her.

"and i love playing with you baby, but leo's a baby and he needs someone to watch him all the time, just like we did when you were a little baby. but we can still play together, that hasn't ended" i reassured her and she nodded and stopped crying.

"i'm sorry i said you were horrible" she said.

"it's okay" we both said and kissed her cheeks and hugged her.

"okay so what do you want to do today?" mattia asked.

"uncle kai told me and kiara that you and him and uncle ale used to play soccer together" she said.

"yeah we did" mattia smiled.

"can you teach me" she asked.

"of course!" mattia smiled so big which made us both smile too.
