it's been 3 days since we last spoke to ale. we've all been chilling separately since the whole thing happened on wednesday. i was on my phone on the bed and mattia came out the bathroom. just as he sat down next to me there was a knock on the door. we looked at each other in confusion because we weren't expecting anyone. mattia went down and i came down after him and he opened the door and we saw all of our best friends standing at the door. jem , kairi , ale , naomi , jaden , jason and noen were there , smiling at us. we let them in and we all sat in the living room.
"hey?" mattia said.
"uh i'm sorry , to both of you , about how i was acting the other day" ale said and i looked over at naomi.
"we already spoke, don't worry" she said and i nodded.
"i shouldn't have spoken to you like that y/n. you were right , i just didn't wanna listen. and mattia i know you were right but again i just didn't wanna accept that i fucked up" he continued.
"it's okay ale" i said and he gave me a hug.
"yeah we're good" mattia said and they smiled at each other.
"sooo" jem said , signalling at ale.
"oh yeah" he said, "i wanted to make it up to everyone for ruining that day , so my parents have a beach house in california and i thought it would be fun for us all to stay there for a few days" he said and everyone was smiling.
"ale you didn't have to do all that" mattia said , ruffling his hair.
"i wanted to. oh and i'm sorry for how we got introduced noen , so hopefully this trip will help us get to know you more" ale said and noen looked at him surprise.
"wait what? i'm coming?" noen asked.
"of course you are" ale said and noen smiled so big.
"awhh thank you damn" he said.
"good because i was gonna miss you if you didn't come" jason said to noen.
"AWWWHHH" we all shouted and they both blushed.
"you guys cool with leaving tonight?" ale asked.
"yeah let me just let my parents know" mattia said.
"me too" noen said.
everyone went back to their houses to finish packing and we agreed to meet at ales in seperate cars so we could get there together. (im aware the journey from new jersey to california is like 42 hours in a car but we just gonna ignore that)
"you excited?" mattia asked me as he threw his shorts into the mini suitcase.
"yess i am" i said.
"i wasn't expecting any of that" mattia said.
"tbh same but i'm glad he realised it was wrong"
"me too" he said , throwing tshirts into the case without even looking.
"look at what you're packing stupid" i said , folding his shirts in but he grabbed it out my hand and threw it across the room and i stared at him.
"no" he said casually and continued chucking things into his suitcase until he tried to not smile when he realised i was still staring at him.
"you're cute" he said , laughing.
"bitch you're bipolar asf" i said walking to the bathroom , when i felt him pick me up and throw me over his shoulder.
"PUT ME DOWWN" i shouted , hitting his arm.
"i don't think i will" he said and carried on packing while i was just laying over his shoulder.
"you're annoying" i sighed and he laughed and put me down on the bed and kissed me. i kissed him back and put my arms around his neck and he pulled away smiling.
"not so annoying anymore am i" he smirked and i rolled my eyes at him. we finished packing and said goodbye to his parents and we got to ale's house. soon jason , jaden and noen arrived in jaden's car and we were all ready to leave. we all left at the same time , each of our cars behind each other. 2 hours into the journey we were all thirsty so we stopped off at a starbucks and took our drinks to go. we had our playlist playing on the aux , with the songs we both liked. we had similar music taste which was always a blessing. mattia's hand was on my thigh as he had one hand on the steering wheel , looking hot as fuck btw.
(also this is irrelevant but i can't wait to see how this mf drives irl bc if it's anything like him in gta i'm praying for anyone who sits in that car lmaoo)
as we drove , we belted out the lyrics to the songs and laughed way too much everytime mattia's voice cracked on the high notes. after 5 hours of driving, we arrived at the most beautiful , massive beach house ever.

"holy shit" noen said as we all got out of our cars.
"that's fucking huge" naomi said.
"let's go in" ale said and we walked in and dumped our stuff on the floor.
"this is like a palace" i said as i slid across the shiny floors.
"and guess what the best thing is" ale said and we all looked at him.
"what?" jaden asked.
"all the bedroom walls are soundproof" he smirked and everyone went red and looked at their partner , except ale and naomi and jaden just laughed at us all.
"i feel like there's gonna be a lot of 9th wheeling" jaden laughed.
"nope , we're with you buddy" ale said and everyone looked at him and naomi.
"yeah , we broke up. but it's cool we're still friends , we'll see how things go" naomi said, reassuring us.
"yeah exactly" ale said and we nodded.
we went upstairs and dibs on what bedroom we wanted. they were all master bedrooms of similar sizes so everyone was happy. there was like 10 bedrooms so there was like 4 left spare. we went and unpacked and ordered food. we sat on the table outside and ate and talked. everyone was tired from the long drive so we decided to go up to bed at like 11pm.
i got into bed and mattia put his arm around me and kissed my head. we said goodnight and fell asleep right away.
