TIME SKIP - A FEW MONTHS - WEDDING DAY - (i don't know how tf normal weddings work , my weddings are different so idrk how to write this so it might be a little vague but i'll try)

i took a deep breathe as i looked at myself in the mirror. i'm getting married. holy shit. there was a knock at my door and jemma walked in. 

"you ready to go get married?" she smiled.

"yeah" i smiled back and we got in the car and drove to the wedding.

i walked into the banquet hall and there he was. about 10 feet away from me but i got closer as i kept walking. i finally stopped next to him and my parents went to sit down and i looked up at him.

"you're so beautiful" he whispered , his eyes watering.

"stop i'm gonna cry" i blushed and whispered back to him , a tear almost escaping my eyes.

he took my hand and squeezed onto it as his parents went up to make their speech. after our parents had finished theirs , it was time for our friends.

 "i can't believe we're finally here. me and kairi have known mattia since he was a dumb 10 year old kid and now we're watching him get married" ale smiled and mattia shook his head as we laughed.

"y/n , there's only one person in this world who can make mattia's eyes light up , and that's me , but you're definitely a close second" kairi started and i laughed as mattia covered his mouth and the guests started laughing too.  

they both carried on with their speeches which were actually very sweet , and then it was jemma's turn. 

(i actually got her to write this bit she's so soft)

"so we are here today to celebrate our best friends wedding. I think that all of us expected this to come one day but now that it is here it seems so unreal. y/n It feels like almost yesterday that you and I were put in the same textiles class but look how far we've come. Our friendship means the world to me and it always will, you are the one person I can 100% guarantee that will grow old with me and I am sure that everyone in this room can bring up a whole list of good memories spent with you. As for your fiance I would just like to say that it was I who won her heart first. Anyway I wont keep you all for too long, let this be the start of a new chapter in all of our lives as we celebrate the marriage between y/n and mattia" she said and i had tears rolling down my cheek and mattia was emotional too. 

she came over and hugged us both and then we stopped being fucking simps and ate food and partied for the rest of the night and we had so much fun. me and mattia had our first dance and we were trying so hard to not start laughing because everyone was looking at us and like crying. we had so much fun and everyone was laughing and happy. soon it got to the end of the night and everyone said congratulations and started to leave. the group stayed till last and we had a little moment with them and they they had to go too. there was a room where our clothes were and our suitcases were already in the taxi and so we went to change out of our wedding clothes into something comfier. 

when we got there i took mattia's hand pulled him close to me and he smiled down at me. we had agreed on not doing emotional speeches to each other in front of everyone because we wanted it to be personal.

"i'm gonna go first because i don't wanna cry again" i said and he laughed and nodded.

"okay , i love you. so so so much. no one makes me as happy as you do and i genuinely have no idea wtf i'd be doing if i hadn't met you. you've made these last 4 years of my life so fucking incredible , we were 16 when we started dating and at the time and we really had no idea the kind of shit we'd have to go through to get here. but we made it. and i wouldn't change our story for the world because it got us here. at our wedding. mattia polibio i love you with my whole heart and i can't wait for what comes next for us" i said and i blinked a lot trying not to cry again and i looked at mattia who had a tear streaming down his face.
