"what about my kiss?"

TIME SKIP- A YEAR LATER- LAILA IS ONE YEARS OLD NOW-

"mattia where's her bottle?" i asked as i packed her nappy bag.

"here" he passed it to me and put her jacket on. 

"okay what about-" 

"shh" he interrupted me and grabbed my face and kissed me. 

"we're not leaving the country baby we're going to Cali for a few days with the whole group and she's gonna be with us, don't stress" he said resting his head against mine as i took a deep breath.

"okay i just don't wanna forget anything she needs" 

"we've got everything" he reassured me and picked up laila in his arms and kissed her cheek which made her smile.  

finally we left and got in the car and started driving. we were doing a group weekend at ale's family's beach house that we went to years ago. it was our first out of town trip with laila and i was just a bit stressed , i wanted it to go well. we had a good drive there and after a few hours we finally made it and laila was asleep in her seat so i took her out the car while mattia got the bags. everyone was already there so they opened the door for us and hugged us. 

"let me lay her down one sec" i said after they kissed her cheeks. i laid her on the couch and put a pillow on the open side so she wouldn't fall off. 

i went back to the others as we all sat down together.

"this is exciting we haven't had a trip together in so long" halia smiled.

"we haven't been here in so long!"

"what was the sudden urgency to do this though ale and naomi? y'all just called and said we going to Cali for some news?" jem asked as we were all confused too.

"uh well there's news" ale said, looking nervous.

"what newss" we asked not knowing what to expect.

"um so you know we broke up again a couple months ago?" ale said and we nodded.

"well a few weeks ago we got back together again but then after a few days we decided it was best just to stay friends" he said and we nodded again.

"we didn't know until 4 days ago but, i'm pregnant" naomi said and we all stared at them before jumping up and congratulating them.

"wait so you're back together or no?" mattia asked as we all sat down again.

"not exactly, well we're not sure because we always break up over dumb shit then get back together and we're admittedly really fucking toxic but we love each other and we both want this baby" naomi said.

"whatever you decide, you're gonna be great parents" ronnie smiled and we all agreed with her.

"omg naiiii i'm so excited!! laila's gonna get her first cousin!" i smiled and she laughed and hugged me.

we all talked some more until laila woke up and i bought her to sit with us.

"hi gorgeous we missed you" jade smiled at her.

"hi" laila smiled at everyone.

"awwwhhh" everyone said.

"she's grown so quickly i can't believe it" kairi said while hugging her.

we talked and laugh some more until we got hungry and ty had bought some cookies and stuff so we were all standing around the kitchen and living room talking and kairi tried to scare ale but ended up scaring laila which made her cry.
