i woke up and mattia was getting ready. i propped myself up on my elbow to see him properly.
"you're up early" i said and he turned around to look at me and he nodded and came to sit next to me.
"yeah" he smiled and kissed my head.
"im gonna go downstairs , come down in 10?" he asked me and i nodded and he went downstairs and i went to the bathroom and changed into:

i finished getting dressed and went downstairs.
i walked into the kitchen but no one was there so i went into the living and looked up and saw mattia , my mum and my dad.
"uh what's going on" i said but mattia took my hand and i sat on the sofa next to him, facing my parents.
"well , mattia showed up to our hotel this morning and we spoke to him and realised we were being unfair" my dad said and i looked at mattia in shock.
"we're sorry , we know we haven't had the closest with relationship with you. it just hurt a little that we weren't able to really be there for you growing up. we didn't get to give you the usual boy talk like other parents. but you're 18 now and we missed our chance and i guess it just made us feel like we were bad parents" my mum said and it took me a minute to process that they actually just apologised to me. that's new.
"it's okay , i turned out okay so you didn't do a bad job" i said with a small laugh and they smiled and hugged me.
"we're really happy for you both"
"i'll give you guys a minute" mattia said , getting up and leaving the room.
"so , do you like him?" i asked.
"we love him. he really cares about you otherwise he wouldn't have tried to find us and then made us understand what we said wrong" my dad said and my heart melted.
"he's a good kid y/n , we really are happy for you both"
i smiled at them and hugged once more before they actually had to go to their meeting. we said our goodbyes and they said they'd try visit when they could and they said bye to mattia and hugged him too. after we walked them out , mattia closed the front door and i was in the kitchen.
"you all okay now?" he asked as he came into the kitchen and opened the fridge and took out juice. i kinda just stared at him for a minute.
"what?" he laughed.
"you're really cute" i said and he smiled and held onto my face and placed a kiss on my lips. he pulled away to look at me but i buried my face into his chest because i felt my eyes watering. i tried hard to blink the tears away but one ended up rolling onto his hoodie and i sniffed.
"hey why are you crying" he asked.
"i love you so so much" i said quietly and he looked at me.
"i love you too baby but why are you sad" he asked , wiping my eyes.
