"this is why i love you"

we had woken up an hour or so ago and i had brushed my teeth and i was making my bed and jade was texting her crush. she looked happy so i was happy for her even though i didn't know tf it was.

there was a knock on the door so i went to open it and jem was standing there.

"i'm sorry about last night-" she started but i cut her off with a hug.

"it's okay, i'm sorry about you and kai" i said and she hugged me back.

"he doesn't even know why i did it" she said and i looked at her and we sat down on the bed.

"he said it's because you lost feelings?" 

"well i did but it wasn't because of him" 

"what do you mean? was there someone else?" 

"kind of.."

"DID YOU CHEAT ON HIM"

"NO, i didn't cheat but i started feeling off with kairi ever since i made friends with this guy a few weeks ago and so i ended things with kai because i didn't want anything like that to happen" she explained.

"did the guy know you and kairi were together?" jade asked , shutting her phone.

"yeah , he respected it. but it was me who wanted more with him that's why i broke up with kairi"

"damn"

"so what's the situation with the guy now?"

"i think we're talking? i don't know what to do"

"do you think you're ready to date him already?"

"not yet , but maybe soon?" 

"do you have no feelings for kai anymore?" i asked because i felt so bad for him.

"is it bad if i say i don't" she asked.

"i know you can't control how you feel but for him that's pretty shitty" i answered honestly and jade nodded.

"i know and i feel bad but i think this best for us both" she sighed and me and jade leaned our heads on either side of her. 

there was another knock at the door.

"it's open!" i shouted and mattia came in and sat next to us.

"you both okay now?" he asked.

"yeah" we both said and he smiled.

"good" 

"how's kai?" jade asked.

"upset. he doesn't know what he did to make you stop loving him." mattia said to jem.

"should i talk to him? we said we were on good terms but i feel bad that he doesn't know everything" she said.

"i think you should" i said and she nodded and left.

"why are you smiling" mattia asked jade as she texted this mystery girl.

"because i can bitch" she replied and he rolled his eyes.

"can i tell him can i tell him can i tell him" i pleaded and she laughed and said yes.

"jade has a crush but she won't tell us who it is. all we know is that apparently jade thinks i'll kill her and jade if i find out but i don't really see that happening if i'm honest" i said and mattia laughed.

"jade's a fucking simp hahahaha" he laughed at her.

"says the guy who bought a rose for his ex girlfriend and took her on a date 2 days ago" she said and mattia put his finger up at her.
